GoPro Charging Port Fix.

Hi I have a Akaso Action camera (cheap go-pro) and I broke the micro usb port which I used to connect my camera to my pc as a webcam and for other things. How i can i fix this? I really like this camera and would not like to buy a new webcam, can i send it to you guys? or are there any general stores i can go to? any tips?

I got a hero4 same problem. Have to charge the battery externally. What type of port did you replace? Is it mini type B usb 5pins?

Ya it’s USB MINI
External battery charging maybe damaged u r battery packs

How did you get the broken usb port off? And do you just solder a tiny amount on to the pins using flux and a tiny amout of solder on the tip?

No need more amount solder to fix using micro soldering methods

have Gopro 4, I'm charging the battery externally but when I insert the same, the screen shows blinking battery icon, as if battery is not charging, then the camera switches off, what is the problem??

If you’re battery bulged , the battery is damaged
Otherwise camera or charger issues
