One more comment: The late great Red Skelton once remarked that the best comedians are not those who use one-liners. Rather, they are "the story tellers." That was John all the way.
I knew him from when we were in the 4th grade all the way through High School and graduated together. What a great guy. So sorry to see he is gone. RIP John. Malden Catholic HS 1982
I had the pleasure of flying from new york to Los Angeles in 1999 no clue who he was talked about life. He was delightful man. He got kick out me being native American and me being 6'3 300 pounds I said probably the the biggest Indian you ever saw. He said na na .
What a Legend. he had the inimitable expressions to match his very funny repertoire, it is so sad he is gone. And how come I only heard of him this year ?? (2024) You cracked me up J.P. Love ya man, R.I.P
Imagine his humor today with everything that has happened since he passed , miss your awesome talent thanks for making me laugh without the swearing you truly are missed😢
I never knew John particpated in the MDA Telethon. What a great man with a giving heart. You'll always be missed John. Thank you for the smiles and chuckles.
When I lived in Hollywood I used to go and watch movies in Jerry's Vine Street Theater he used to broadcast a radio show from. That was a good time in my life.
His water slide long drop ride info perfectly sums up watching my cousin johnny and twin sis go down this socal water park slide like hooligans and I was just watching them shaking my teenaged head at them😆
RIP John, My brother turned me on to you! Wish i could have seen you in person! You certainly do make me laugh, especially on a rough health day! Blessings To your Family!
Great respect for the master. I remember one of his earlier videos where he came out on stage, grabbed the mic, and then moved the mic stand off to one side. I nearly passed a kidney when he said, "There, can you see me better?!" Does anyone know where that video is? Talk about making a stellar first impression!! RIP John.
Everyone needs salvation here are the words of salvation please forgive me jesus im a sinner come into my heart and save me from my sin I no that you are the savior and I no that you died for me on calvary and I no that God raise you from the dead and you are alive and I thankyou for your salvation in Jesus holy name amen and its important to always ask for forgiveness every night 🌙 ✨️
Great guy but he'll get to the point, if he's not there already, when he notices health issues. As one that jokes at his own weight it will be very hard on him
He's looking down upon us wanting us to be more funny so for his sake, everyone try to be a little funnier tomorrow. Plan if it's necessary, but get er done.

He was a national treasure.
Nay nay. He was a global treasure.
This is how brilliant John was. You can watch any of his routines time after time and still laugh your rear end off. The have no shelf life.
Absolutely 💯 so funny. Awesome talent.

Best entertainment we ever hired for our convention crowds. Always in tears by the time he finished his stories.
What a Legend. he had the inimitable expressions to match his very funny repertoire, it is so sad he is gone.

I miss you so much, John.
I loved the ice skating story.
So talented and such command of stand-up craft. And he never took the easy and cheap way out of loading up on swear words.
Awesome talent.
Thank You to whoever commented on my comment ! Cheers ! 😊👍🏼
😂😂😂😂Oh, how i miss him...much of this was in other routines(clips). Still hilarious, but the Hairspray bit, I damn near wet myself laughing 😂😂😂😂😂😂

Funny guy!
John and his performance deserved a much better audience than this one. I guess the telethon was well past its heyday by this time.
I once did have my eyebrows shaved because of a bet i made and lost.
People look at you like: something isn’t looking right but what is it.

Nella versione inglese del Signore degli anelli Gollum chiamava così l'unico anello. Per cui la traduzione esatta credo sarebbe "quello era il tessssoro", e non "quello era il processo".
In effetti così ha più senso. Corretto, grazie.
What a great loss of talent. 😥

Oh Hello
7:24 😂😂
Great guy but he'll get to the point, if he's not there already, when he notices health issues. As one that jokes at his own weight it will be very hard on him
He's dead bruh
@@wakaluli wow, I didn't realize that. I knew it was coming. Same thing with John Candy.
John Pinette had lost a huge amount of weight...and then passed. Ironic. And I wish he was still here...
@@janerohrbaugh7192 I had just stumbled upon him and he was already gone.
I thought Seinfeld was good. I thought Stephen Wright was the best and then I saw John Pinette. Cased closed !!
He's looking down upon us wanting us to be more funny so for his sake, everyone try to be a little funnier tomorrow. Plan if it's necessary, but get er done.
