The pool bar trick is... tricky! Don’t forget to place a pool ladder (like Satch did 😆)! You have to lower your platform a specific number of times and then raise your basement a specific number of times for it to be accessible from both sides and, you need TWO bars - which you overlap (bc that’s the only way they can be accessed from both sides). I think Satch forgot the second bar but, not his fault: I don’t think the tiktok he had even shows that part. So, his sim couldn’t get in the pool at all and then she couldn’t reach the inside of the bar - bc the two bars create an illusion of just one. Instructions: Draw your platform one square away from the edge of the pool Lower your platform 5 times and place the first bar by sliding it through the platform into the pool - just barely until the whole front of the bar and counter area is in the pool. Don’t push it fully, the “arms” on the bar shouldn’t be in the pool. The two sides that stick out (“arms”) will probably be glitching slightly through the ground, but no worries - that’s perfect and we will cover that up. After you placed the first bar (with stools already on it - important bc you can’t do that later) Delete the platform, and draw a basement (from the ground level using the basement tool). Draw the basement directly beside the pool, without leaving a square in between this time. Now, click on it and click the yellow outline to delete the ceiling. Now, raise your basement 8 times (if you lowered the platform 5 times). You’ll be able to see the basement is the right height bc the bottom of the bar will be exactly level with the floor. Place your second bar, aligning it with the first bar. You don’t need to push it all the way through (in fact you shouldn’t be able to) and you DON’T want to. You have two bars so it will be accessible from both sides. This inside (2nd) bar is for your bartender to make drinks and the other (1st) bar is for sims to drink at, but you align them so it looks like one bar - just a bit wider. You can place the white stone object from spa day so it looks like the stools are sitting on something, but you may need to place anything beneath the stools before you place the bar. That might take a bit of time and adjustment. I just use round stools that look better and the floating thing doesn’t look so noticeable or weird. You can also use the square stone object from Spa Day to create steps for your pool (sims can’t actually use them, but just for aesthetics). Oh, and you can place regular stairs to the “basement” seating area, if you don’t want to bother with platform steps. Your sims should be able to serve drinks from one side and swim right up to the bar and sit on a stool on the other side. I use base game “money maker” bars for this, with base game stools just because they’re not too big, the height is perfect and they come in lots of colors. Also, that way everyone can download it and it will be playable in their game. This is a more advanced build trick, so it’s easy to understand if this is too much hassle or too complicated. I’m thinking of making this as a “room” to put on the gallery, by itself so people can easily add a pool bar to their game. You would just need to delete the walls around it when you download it... (or not and then you’d have a pool of death 💀)
Im getting an error message "can't intersect with walls" when I try to slide the first bar and stools from the platform to the pool. 5 notches down, as specified
With the built in fridge hack, u can also use the largest cabinet backwards. You do have to get rid of walls first, so no snapping and move objects on. But it looks more sleek.
@@BreakingGaia It is fiddle, you can try to move the fridge forward using the alt key. In some cases enlarge can work, TwistedMexi's T.O.O.L. mod is really good if you want to get into more detailed building/decorating.

I was looking for this comment I’m late to the party 😂I have done this since Sims 2 with that conversion. I would be a terrible builder if I didn’t use floor plans.
Fun thing about the remove ceiling thing, in case you don’t know: but if you put a light, or a window on the second story floor, remove the ceiling/floor, the lighting will hit the first floor allowing you to build functional vaulted ceiling’s for your home.

I've used that stairs thing since the game came out in my home builds, to put the basement stairs directly under the stairs to the upstairs floor. I've wanted it since TS3, since the house I lived in IRL had stairs like that. One of the first things I did when TS4 came out was build my house with the stacked stairs. I also do the remove ceiling on basements to make walk out basements all the time. Or you can make little 'rooms' around a basement, put windows in the basement wall, and then remove the ceiling of the little basement rooms to get natural light in a basement. I also use tons of floorplan sites for builds. I get tons of spam because everyone thinks I'm house shopping.
@@piperbird7193 🤭 Yeah, there's plenty of EAs builds with stacked stairs. You just need to delete the stair's wall that blocks the path and then you can put another stair underneath. regarding the stacked stairs: i don't know if this has been said in the comments already but if you choose a stair that has a wall under it, the sledgehammer gets rid of that under stair wall. this gives you a lot more options for stacked stairs!! (and if you want the under stair wall back, i believe just applying wallpaper over the space will rebuild it?) also, attic or basements, and 3 storey townhouses are good builds to use those stacked stairs in for residential use. also, if you drew a fence room and cover the top stair block too, this will create a new 'room' which allows you to delete the floor and have more control over how your stairwells and banisters look, instead of being restricted to only the tiles the stairs automatically cutout.
@@alr3764 I think they actually fixed this so, it's not really an issue anymore. But, the way it worked was that you would get a sim from another family, one that isn't your main sim family, a neighbor or whatever, and you control them. While you are controlling them you buy all the rugs your main sim family wants, and put them in your inventory. Then, you visit your main sim family's house with this neighbor sim and all the rugs. With the bar hack, I think you lowered the bar too low or the chairs are in the pool wall, and that is why it isn't working. I will still try it in a future build.
Yeah, it looked like his stools were in the wall a bit, and the bar was a bit too low as well. I’ve done this one successfully before so I know it works first hand. Just the platform and bar have different height levels so it’s a bit finicky.
I tried to do the last one myself as well and I couldn’t get it to work! 🤪 I think you have to be a very gifted builder in the Sims to be able to make something like that work. ❤️
*Tip to avoid clipping I saw from a UA-camr* - Scale every second object by a very tiny decimal difference to the one next to it. You can also take one of the standing room dividers that are straight, (like the one with cut out patterns, or the one made of lines or the one from island living with the blue waves design), and place it against the wall and you’ll have a cool carved panel wall - if you place a mirror behind it, positioning it just barely behind the divider, you have a really nice mirrored wall. It’s a bit tricky to position it just right, but delete the wall, hold alt to place the divider and the mirror and then redraw the wall. I also figured out how to make a staircase that’s wrapped around a single square, so it’s almost a spiral staircase, but it’s very tricky and I would have to make a video to explain how. Just letting y’all know it is possible, so it’s something you can play around with. I like to place a one square wide room, and sometimes I make it two stories high depending on the build. I put the tall, single pane windows all around it, there are a few good base game windows that work, or there’s one from Island Living and one from Spa Day that actually lets you choose a tint color. I place windows all the way around it and all the way up. Next, you can put whatever you like inside the glass box you created. I use things from debug, especially Island Living stuff. You can make an aquarium by shrinking a few aquariums. The aquarium itself will shrink, but the fish and bubbles will stay the same size, so it looks like they’re swimming freely. You can put them in anything. I put them in my glass “window box”, so it becomes a custom tank. I place some watery grassy plants and coral, and rocks and things to cover up the aquarium boxes at the bottom. There’s also a cool swirling debug object for Island Living that comes in different colors. It looks like a swirling school of fish, or a swirl of blowing petals or leaves. Instead, you might just make a dry terrarium by placing plants, rocks, grass and maybe shrink a tree to put inside. Lastly, wrap the staircase around it. If you like, you can delete the room in the middle completely, and just have the “square-spiral” staircase, standing alone. Another trick is to make BETTER working elevators, using the ones from City Living or University debug. The elevators USUALLY can only be placed in penthouses, and only one can be placed per lot. Unlike previous games, where you could place up to ten. If you want realistic elevators you probably want one at each floor AND you want to build with them, not just penthouses. This is another complicated build technique, that I should probably do a video on... but, just letting y’all know it’s possible. This comment is a mile long and I didn’t mean to write a novel, but if anyone sees this and still wants to know how, I’ll be glad to give instructions.
I've been stacking stairs since I first played. Another hack is... you can't stack the one's that has a wall... but if you use a floating staircase first, then you can use a walled one and it automatically removes the wall. :) yw
I do the centering of the sink all of the time. The trick is that you can use the full-size counters on each side of the sink cabinet and reserve the "half tile" ones for the end. There you can be a bit more fidgeting in putting it part way into the wall if need be.
the floorplan one is how i build the floor plans for all my houses, but the biggest thing it looking at the items on the floor plan like the bathroom sink and bath etc make sure you have the right scale. eg that plan you used the upstairs bath have 1 square deep for the sink, then another square for the door, if i bath takes up 1 side of the room in the plans, only make the room 2 squares so the bath fits etc... i can make a video on this to explain if this doesnt make sense?
Oh wow. You just showed up on my feed and I've never seen any of your videos before but this video was super helpful. You have a new subscriber my dude.
Cool hacks! But the "Island Living counters" are actually the Jungle Adventure ones... some of my favorite counters. Second only to Country Kitchen Kit counters. Great video.
I redid the 888 Spires apartment in San Myshuno. It's a 3 story apartment and that's exactly how I did the stairs. I don't know why it's considered a "hack" though. I didn't have to do anything special to make it work.
These are very handy! I’ll definitely be keeping these in mind. But heads up guys, the counter set in central sink and built-in fridge chapter is NOT Island Living but from Jungle Adventure, Satch confused me quite a bit there. 😂
Stairs, the best way to set them up is full 180* turns.. so you go half way up, there is a landing and half way up the other way.. and you can set them up one on top of the other, that way there is no wasted space between the floors and soon as you get to the next floor, you are at the next stairs to go up.. no wasted space and no wasted steps.. making your time quicker going up and down. and I just got an idea for some stairs.. one separate set of steps for each floor.. from the bottom floor to the second floor, one set of steps.. another set of steps from the bottom floor directly to the 3rd floor.. just one continuous set of steps.. and another set of steps from the bottom floor to the 4th floor, one set of continuous steps.. no stopping on any floor in between.. and the sims could use some ESCALATORS.. that would be cool EA.. I am going to have to go try out my idea with a shell build to see how the steps work out.. will also need separate steps as well between the 2nd floor and the 3rd floor and the 4th floors as well.. lots of different steps yes, but no stopping at floors you never wanted to go to.. and oh yea, them express stairs to each floor from every floor worked flawlessly.. when going from the first floor to the top floor, they took the one stairs which was express all the way to the 4th floor.. and when I wanted them to go from the first floor to the 3rd floor, they took the stairs which were expressly to that floor.. one set of stairs from the first floor to the 4th floor, the 1st floor to the 3rd floor, and the 1st floor to the 2nd floor, and then same from every floor.. from the third floor to the 4th floor, from the second floor to the 4th floor.. express stairs from every floor to every floor.. worked perfectly..
I didn't know you could remove ceilings either maybe that'll make it easier for me to try to build the house I was building with a loft ceiling in the living room.
I'm using the trick with a mirror for almost a year now =) It's really good! But it's much easier with a T.O.O.L mod 😅 I must admit 🤣❤ The bathtub trick is pretty cool! Also, you reminded me of this last one! Thank you, dear! ❤❤❤
You should play test the fridge one, because my sim wouldn’t use the fridge with the cabinet there. I stopped doing it because of that. Unless someone has a hint of what to do ?
so uh you dont need the multiple half cabinets to make the fridge appear built in just use the long cabinet like... everyone else has done since the start of this game i dont see how thats a hack thats used in like every build ive ever seen... and they never use up a bunch of the half cabinets lmao why use 10 when you can use ONE LONG ONE THATS THE SAME SIZE AS THE FRIDGE

I don't build I usually just download and put my own stamp on a house it's less of a headache and doesn't take ages to do
You’re a sims house flipper 😂
@@dalkay I didn't think of it like that ha good point😁
I do the stairs one all the time... didn't know it was a hack haha
Cool hacks! But the "Island Living counters" are actually the Jungle Adventure ones... some of my favorite counters. Second only to Country Kitchen Kit counters.
Great video.
the sink thing is really clever
Yaassssss, I never seen these hacks so its nice little coverage. Gracious thanks 😋
You should save the house you built at 8:45 in the gallery, it's really nice.
I always watch youre videos when playing the sims 4! So this helps so much heh❤️🍓🍰
Omg I wish I knew about remove celling tool earlier.
I once spent 20 minutes trying to make something of a indoor balcony for my bar 😂
I love your channel ❤️❤️
IVE BEEN WAITING FOR THAT SINK ONE
The life changing one is the reminder you can shrink lights
I redid the 888 Spires apartment in San Myshuno. It's a 3 story apartment and that's exactly how I did the stairs. I don't know why it's considered a "hack" though. I didn't have to do anything special to make it work.
I laughed so hard during the pool part. 😂
Thankyou for the stairs tip (using CTRL one)!
These are very handy! I’ll definitely be keeping these in mind.
But heads up guys, the counter set in central sink and built-in fridge chapter is NOT Island Living but from Jungle Adventure, Satch confused me quite a bit there. 😂
Knowing I can hit ctrl to place stairs below is huge thank you it use to bug me so much when lining them up.
Not island living but jungle adventure cabinets! Ahhhh
Omg the ctrl stair hack.... Why couldn't I see that yesterdayyyyyy
I didn't know you could remove ceilings either maybe that'll make it easier for me to try to build the house I was building with a loft ceiling in the living room.
Shanice exited the Matrix lmfao
I'm using the trick with a mirror for almost a year now =) It's really good! But it's much easier with a T.O.O.L mod 😅 I must admit 🤣❤ The bathtub trick is pretty cool! Also, you reminded me of this last one! Thank you, dear! ❤❤❤
The stairs stacking wuold work great for houses with a basement I'd think.
I always use the stair stacking one when I want a cellar
I love your channel broooo
Why is Shanice face like that 😭😭😂
Shanice looks like she might’ve had a few drinks 😂
I like ur accent, I can understand it very clear
You should play test the fridge one, because my sim wouldn’t use the fridge with the cabinet there. I stopped doing it because of that. Unless someone has a hint of what to do ?
Omg thank you !
I have a hard time placing stairs in the basement and I can’t tell where it’s going
Ok but seriously, what was Shanice even doing during that last pool bar hack?? 😂
On a Sims build binge 📝
Oh wow that's nice😃, although I don't use closets like at all none of my builds have them, for me it occupies unnecessary space 🤔
6:09 - вау! Я определённо буду это использовать при строительстве многоэтажных зданий! Очень нравится как выглядит 🥰
Only me who noticed he said ‘island living’ for the 2nd and 3rd abt the counters
My older sister’s name is Shanice 😂
4:41 the “fixed” shower tub is so ugly tho
was the fridge functional? I tried this once in one of my past builds and the sims couldn't use the fridge
so uh
you dont need the multiple half cabinets to make the fridge appear built in
just use the long cabinet
like... everyone else has done since the start of this game
i dont see how thats a hack thats used in like every build ive ever seen...
and they never use up a bunch of the half cabinets lmao
why use 10 when you can use ONE LONG ONE THATS THE SAME SIZE AS THE FRIDGE
I was hoping you would let your sim open the fridge to test if it works and how it looks just like how you did with the closet and the mirror. Do you still see the inside of the fridge?
The fridge one is nice for show but I have done it before and its none functional so it's not the best in terms of "gameplay"
Forever saying ✨ functionable✨ now
its annoying trying to fit a mirror there fits a whole uneeded closet lol
How....how did I not know about the remove ceiling button??? 😳
I tried the fridge one before and it worked for the first 3 times and then it just stopped working
I think it’s “functional”, not “functionable”. Unless the latter is a technical term about furniture usability?
I like this dude, he seems nice
U BEST!!!
What the heck was your sim doing? 😂😂😂😂😂
2:54 Maybe "Alt" ?
11:16 - у тебе чудесно вышло украсить этот бассейн! 🥰 И ты очень милый 😍 мне понравились твои видео.
А при открытии холодильника будет шкафчик вместо полок с едой? (4:30)
I dont like the fridge hack bc you can see the counter in the fridge when a sim opens the door :(
The bar didn't work because you were only supposed to go down 4 times and you went five.
Not sure what I have done wrong but I have been unable to watch your last 3 uploads as they wont play!
You learned that from me don’t u remember?
