How to cook a filling pumpkin stew

  • Since it is getting cold... I cook pumpkin stew with lots of ingredients.
    ■Ingredients (4 servings)
    200 g pumpkin
    1/2 onion
    1 bag shimeji mushrooms
    1/4 carrot
    200g bacon
    30g butter
    3 1/2 tablespoons flour
    300ml water
    2 tsp consommé (1 solid)
    400ml milk
    some salt and pepper
    ■Directions
    1. Cut pumpkin into small pieces, onion, carrot and bacon into 1cm cubes.
    2. Put butter in a pan and fry all the ingredients.
    3. When them becomes soft, lower the heat and add flour.
    4. Add consommé and water and simmer over low heat until pumpkin is cooked.
    5. Add milk and bring to a boil, then season with salt and pepper to taste.
