"lotus" - a long time ago, seems to be so long ago, but music and sound, like the smell, instantly bring the situations of your life back to your eyes. This song means a lot to me. It brings me back images, every time I listen - pictures of an evening, now in the dark past - in a small beer garden restaurant with music and dance - and, inevitably, the one woman who drew my thinking with her dancing - movement and imagination and future... Yeah, thanks and compliments to rapid.eye.movement, sometimes the music makes us dream. And this song has lost none of its momentum after 20 years. really classic song.
they opened there Dublin show in 1999. with this song. the concert was in the old Lansdowne Rd. I was working in the area at the time. I remember hearing them doing sound check. on my way to work. it was a fantastic concert

Is this off a concert they played in New York which was broadcasted by MTV at the time?? I remember Stipe offering an Up CD for the first person who get completly naked and get up the stage. Is this one the same I'm talking about. I've looked for it everywhere!!! Great album, great time!!!
