It's good for stripping romex type double insulation cables with solid wires inside but when stripping double insulation cables with stranded wires all insulation gets removed instead of only outer insulation so it doesn't work on stranded cables although individual wires can be stripped with no problems. Also, adjustment of pressure knob is only trial and error and sometimes we can tighten it more than required so some strands get damaged

You are probably right, because this is the cheap option, but useful for simple jobs.
