Im from Germany and I am so Happy for Gundogan. Finally he performs great for us. Kroos is our System. Sooo good, even without a goal. Only People who love football underatand how good he is. Wothout Kroos we were so poor. Our Weakness is our Pace on our RB and LB.

I’d disagree with you on Pedri. He’s been able to push the ball forward even while sacrificing in his position. I don’t think De La Fuente was looking for him to be the main creator, considering how lethal his wingers are. As long as they are able to facilitate, especially the mix of Ruiz and Olmo, Pedri just has to push the ball forward and control the game.

But tbf Jude was doing well in the 8 at the World Cup can just play Jude in the 8 and Foden in the 10
Jude always plays shit. BENCH THAT BUM
He only played as an 8 in the groupstage, and it was with Mount as a 10.
Someone who also does a lot of defensive work for the team, a lot more than for example Foden or Palmer.
So basically they were playing with a 6 and 2 number 8's (in Jude and Mount).
Completely different when there is a number 10 in question like Foden.
Not to mention, in tougher games at the world cup, Henderson played alongside Rice for more balance/stability.
They should just play with Wharton alongside Rice, and just drop one of the big boys.
Germany did the same. They could have kept gundogan as an 8, to force in Sané.
But Nagelsmann (best coach at this euro's) knew it was better to bring in Andrich and move Gundogan forward.
