Backpacking the Volunteer Trail | Nashville, Tennessee | Percy Priest Lake

This video documents my backpacking trip of The Volunteer Trail in Long Hunter State Park in Nashville, Tennessee. This trail meanders alongside Percy Priest Lake for 5.5 miles to the primitive, lakeside campsite. It is an out and back trail so the entire length there and back is 11 miles.

Just did this same hike yesterday. Campsite 1 is definitely the move. That little Rock shelf right on the lake was some of the best stargazing in this area.
