It has been over 40 years since I have been to Jamaica, planning a trip even as we speak, leaning even more towards Negril after watching your video. I am British Born of Jamaican parents.....but Jamaica spiritually and ancestrally is home. Really looking forward to my trip. Again keep up the good work.

I also love that second generation Jamaicans born outside of Jamaica for the most part carry the culture. I beleive this is greatly influenced by the love their parents have for their island home. I’m also afraid of heights, however I went para sailing in the Bahamas and it’s so peaceful up there. I looked down and I was not afraid. You should try it. It’s so so peaceful up there. Maybe cause it’s close to heaven. 😊

Did you take a few boxes with you to Canada (patties). I usually have fam/friend purchase 2-3 boxes for me😉. I hide 1-1.5 boxes for my mouth only, then share what's left.

A few weeks ago! I have been slowly editing and releasing content from my 2 week trip home. Soon haffi guh back 🤣🤣🤣
@@CountryWhiteJamaican Yes!! I am already making plans in my head for another trip!! One thing I would highly recommend to the the "Hoteliers" and that is to have the beach raked of the seaweed. At Sandals they rake "every morning". The water was warm and beautiful. I sent an email to Sandals recommending that they should rake the fenced off area to rid it of sea grass because urchins tends to be in the grass. As a matter of fact a couple of people stepped on urchins. Plus it is just a small area that'll not upset "environmentalists." The other thing I noticed was the amount of soft silt in these fenced off areas! If this was in the USA you can bet that they would rake the seagrass in the fenced areas and not just only the beach!! All in all it was a wonderful vacation and I'll be heading back soon! Juici Beef patties were wonderful. Had to venture off the resort to get one.

Enjoyed watching this video. I'm thinking of going to Negril for my birthday in January. Don't want to stay at an all-inclusive resort. Are there any recommendations? Thanks for sharing your lovely vacay in Negril with us!
Sounds great! All depends on budget but all time favorites (on the cliffs) are The Cliff Hotel, Tensing Pen, Catch a Falling Star. If you want to stay on the beach you may prefer all inclusive like Couples or Riu. Or if non all inclusive White Sands is a great option. Let me know how it goes ❤️
