i have to ask why have yous move away form a flexible articulating joints to a rigid one? wouldn't a rigid one put to much stress on some of the tracks on rough terrain? even lifting a track of the ground. here in the part of Australia where i live we have a Stiger Wildcat III the ground is rough as hell if we didn't have a flexible articulating joint we would get wheel lift for sure.
To many moving parts, Versatile nailed it with the delta track, and 200k cheaper then a green machine

It was updated with new features, kind of like when car manufacturers change technical aspects without changing the look of a machine.

John Deere is a good product, however it needs to keep up with the 21st century engine technology. All big and small machinery depends on more than just good hydraulics and state of the art electronic controls however one thing is always left in the 20th century is the engine vs power density factor. Cummins/Achates new engine technology is pushing the envelope but luckily there’s a new engine technology out the that can overcome their engine technology by more than 20%. JegmTech engine technology can out torque, can out perform their new engine with a new effective stroke technology. Cummins/Achates relies on the effective stroke and not the actual stroke to produce power, JegmTech found a solution to combine the actual stroke and effective stroke into one. Mover over Achates JegmTech is here to stay. I hope John Deere is curious enough to see and verify for themselves. Looking forward to speak with John Deere.

When are you going to "innovate not imitate" the fan drive on the cummins equipped models? Your vari cool fan system used on the smaller models and the 8Rs is the very definition of stupidity. I feel like i am constantly having cooling fan issues.
As long as you only "feel like" then that's okay because feeling is different than documented problems.
Buckhorn Cortez No no what Jay means is the JD 's he owns probably has had cooling fan issues every few years. I suppose
You just have to replace the belt every couple hundred hours an you won't have any issues just add the belt to your regular maintenance list an you'll be fine

life long case user here. cannot wait to dump my quads for these deeres. they are superior in more or less every way, make the quads look and perform like junk boxes. so enjoy your new junk box on tracks.

You mean because to get into the articulated tractor business they had to buy Steiger, and buying Steiger makes them better?
Obviously I've never bought a case tractor and watch the resale value of a just keep going down down down John Deere is so far ahead Case IH in the tractor business and son it's unreal
