Allen i love watching your work huge fan. Would you wear some welding sleeves if I send them to you? An old timer i work with is getting chunks of skin off his arms removed from skin cancer. I know it sucks because they're hot but man I don't wish that on anyone.
Do you have a plate inside of the grill area that takes the smoke to the other end before it goes out the stack?? It is a Damn nice pit!! The fire box gave me some ideas for mine. Thanks
Hey Allen, when these door locks with the red handles are fitted to the front door, they are in my humble opinion in the road and likely to catch on things. Is there no way that you could fix them the front vertically below the shelf so that they were more inconspicuous. Plus, they would be stronger not being fixed to the two ears at each side.
I understand that they may not necessarily be required and are there as a matter of personal preference. I was merely suggesting that when they were requested by a customer, they could go downwards that would save making a bracket to hold them as they could then be fixed to the lower front panel. sure, it would be a bit difficult to fit around a full-length shelf, but I am sure they could be esily adapted. I was thinking of your time in making up and fitting the brackets (ears) that would help speed up the manufacturing process.
I like that 24 inch size I still want you to build me a reverse flow in 24 inch I need to sell the Rich Bastard first though I will put it up for sale soon and let you know when I’ll send you the deposit for it Thank You!
Hey Allen! I'm fabricating a Santa Maria grill right now and I'm wondering what kind of paint you use to finish it. I'm looking for something heat proof and food safe.
It's called a reverse flow smoker. There's a diffuser that redirects smoke and heat. They actually help with heat distribution! Look them up! Check them out!
It’s actually the best design out there! A reverse flow smoker has a baffle in it where the warm smoke comes out of the fire box, travels the full length of the smoker till it reaches the end of the baffle, then rises up to above the baffle and then has to travel the length of the smoker again towards the firebox and out there stack. It gives you the best heat distribution your gonna get from any cooker out there, they are awesome!!!

It doesn’t need the clamps, they can be left off if someone wants

Allen I made a short extension with two 220 boxes on it. Plug welder and plasma cutter into it. Works great.
But one at a time right? Was thinking of doing same thing but only with 230v 30amp.
@@boriskarloff598 yes use one unit at a time. Unless your talented and have a mig gun in one hand and a plasma torch in the other 😆😆
How much for that last grill
Did you box up and send back your other plasma cutter yet?
I’m sending it back next week
Allen, does having the stack on the same side as the chamber box effect the heat on the other side of the chamber?
I was wondering the same thing. I've never seen one like this before.
