      A lot of these animals have issues or come from places that have made them lose their natural survival instincts so that they would not be able to let them survive in the wild, some animals also help to breed and make new offspring which then are released into the wild. I'm not saying all zoos are great, but zoos have changed a lot over the past decade, and a lot of these animals are well taken care of and fed and help to ensure that their population thrives in the wild. That dolphin would not be chilling closing it's eyes and be cute in front of that child if it was in a stressed environment.

      The dolphin isn't happy babes. While I can't read dolphin's thoughts.. I have studied their behaviour and what they're natural habitat and lifestyle should be like. This ain't it. The dolphin does seem curious and interested in the child, they are naturally curious and highly intelligent animals. In this situation, the dolphin may not be asking for help... but it was definitely trying to communicate with the girl. It appears to be trying to ask her to play with him or wants to find out more about this child.
      The tank these dolphins are kept in however, are far too small for 4+ dolphins and is way too shallow. And the lack of stimulants in the tank is extremely dangerous for these animal's cognitive and mental state. Studies have shown that dolphins (amongst many other animals) that are not stimulated enough have committed su*cide due to stress.

      @islamisthetruewaytogod6812 Рік тому

      Hello ! May Allah protect and guide you to his light and happiness in this life and the hereafter, God bless, Ameen. Excuse me for giving a little presentation of Islam, because it is very misunderstood nowadays, especially on those « Antichrist's » times, where media and politics are mixed to distort history and truth. Thank you very much for your time.
      Islam is an arabic word that means the Surrender to the One and Only God, our Creator, Protector, Provider, who gives us life and all that we have, we are safe and sound by his will and grace, we are His and to Him we return, and we have to thank him in this trial life by submitting to him by our free will, or later in the Day of judgment when it's too late to save our own skin. Islam was the original Religion descended to earth from heaven with Adam and Eve (peace and blessing be upon them) in the beginning of humanity. and was passed to people with the succession of the 124 000 prophets and 315 messengers of God to all nations and civilizations since, passing by Noah, Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, Ismaël, Joseph, Moses, Aaron, Joshua, David, Solomon and Jesus (Peace and blessing be upon them) during the history of mankind, the last replaces and completes the previous, until the succession of the last messenger of God fourteen centuries ago, Muhammad (Peace and blessing be upon him) to complete the noble morals of all mankind, to bring humans and jinns out of darkness into light, and to purify people's religion and belief from corruption and polytheism, and return it to purity and true monotheism, like it was in the times of the prophets (Peace and blessing be upon them).
      Many Religions that we know nowadays, at their beginning were true and under Islam, initiated by one of the prophets of God, but their original teachings, history and scriptures have been corrupted over time with falsification and polytheism, or lost and replaced with false ones. That's why Islam is the only Religion accepted by God nowadays, which consists in bearing witness that there is no god besides Allah (God in Aramaic, the original language of Jesus and the Gospel), and that Muhammad is His servant and messenger, just like Jesus and Moses and others are His servants and messengers. Never a messenger of God said he was God or literally son of God, it was the people after him who changed the words of God and corrupted the Religion. God is unique and absolute, He does not need to have a family and sons or to associate anyone else with His kingdom, He can simply create whatever He wants, everything belongs to Him, and to Him everything will return. Allah said in Surah Al-Mu’minun : “God has never begotten a son, nor is there any god besides Him. Otherwise, each god would have taken away what it has created, and some of them would have gained supremacy over others. Glory be to God, far beyond what they describe. The Knower of the hidden and the manifest. He is exalted, far above what they associate. (91-92 / Translated by ITANI).
      Allah means the one and only God, the God of all prophets and creatures, the creator of the universe and mankind, and the Master of the Day of judgment, where our destiny, Hell or Paradise, is decided based on our faith and deeds in this trial life, and above all, Allah's mercy.
      Allah said in Surah Al-Ikhlas : In the name of God, the Gracious, the Merciful.
      Say, “He is God, the One. God, the Absolute. He begets not, nor was He begotten. And there is none comparable to Him.” (1-4 / Translated by ITANI).
      Allah said in Surah An-Nisa : O FOLLOWERS of the Gospel! Do not overstep the bounds [of truth] in your religious beliefs, and do not say of God anything but the truth. The Christ Jesus, son of Mary, was but God's Apostle - [the fulfilment of] His promise which He had conveyed unto Mary - and a soul created by Him. Believe, then, in God and His apostles, and do not say, "[God is] a trinity". Desist [from this assertion] for your own good. God is but One God; utterly remote is He, in His glory, from having a son: unto Him belongs all that is in the heavens and all that is on earth; and none is as worthy of trust as God. Never did the Christ feel too proud to be God's servant, nor do the angels who are near unto Him. And those who feel too proud to serve Him and glory in their arrogance [should know that on Judgment Day] He will gather them all unto Himself: (171-172 / Translated by Muhammad Asad).
      Allah the Most Merciful said in Surah Ali-Imran : Behold, the only [true] religion in the sight of God is [man's] self-surrender unto Him; and those who were vouchsafed revelation aforetime took, out of mutual jealousy, to divergent views [on this point] only after knowledge [thereof] had come unto them. But as for him who denies the truth of God's messages - behold, God is swift in reckoning!
      Thus, [O Prophet,] if they argue with thee, say, "I have surrendered my whole being unto God, and [so have] all who follow me!" - and ask those who have been vouchsafed revelation aforetime, as well as all unlettered people, "Have you [too] surrendered yourselves unto Him?" And if they surrender themselves unto Him, they are on the right path; but if they turn away - behold, thy duty is no more than to deliver the message: for God sees all that is in [the hearts of] His creatures.
      Verily, as for those who deny the truth of God's messages, and slay the prophets against all right, and slay people who enjoin equity - announce unto them a grievous chastisement.
      It is they whose works shall come to nought both in this world and in the life to come; and they shall have none to succour them.
      (19-22 / Translated by Muhammad Asad)..
      Salam (Peace) ------------

    • @ExceptionalLibra
      @ExceptionalLibra 6 місяців тому +6

      @movas4927 Yes ⬇️
      Components of "visually".
      1. **Vis**: This part comes from the Latin root "videre," which means "to see."
      2. **u**: This is a connecting vowel, often used in English to link roots or prefixes/suffixes smoothly.
      3. **ally**: This suffix turns an adjective into an adverb, indicating the manner in which something is done.
      So, "visually" essentially means "in a manner related to seeing or sight."

      You are very right. They are extremely intelligent and also highly emotional animals . They have been known to injure themselves against the sides of the tanks out of sheer frustration of being in tightly confined spaces and not enough room to move about . . This is not the case at EVERY facility but nonetheless, it just is sooo sad .
      On a lighter note , there was a fascinating documentary I watched about dolphins in where they were showing an experiment that suggested that dolphins have self awareness and can recognize themselves in a mirror and know it is “them” . They would place a mirror on the side of the tank and you’d watch them stop in front of it and be all curious at first . But then you’d see them start to wave their fin back and forth or do a little somnersault . Sort of similar to what a child does when they are first learning to recognize themselves. It was incredibly fascinating

      they can be vicious to eachother though, if you read up about them. Like humans there is not just one side to intelligent creatures as aware as this. It's sad to me that the very THING that has made humans understand more about dolphins, the thing that's caused us to KNOW how smart & feeling they are & made us adore them so much, what enabled us to realize they should not be caged IS the very thing that allowed humans to learn it so that WE today know caging them is cruel. People may not ever have known HOW highly intelligent & special they are without scientists, trainers, the public spending ALOT of time, years observing & studying them dolphins & other ocean dwelling creatures. When first caught & trained to perform, people thought of dolphins as if they were big fish. We now realize that fish too vary in levels of intellignce & abilities & people are discovering NEW facts every year about species & hundreds /thousands of NEW species worldwide still every year. But they didn't know HOW intelligent they are, that they show compassion, that they stay in family groups like they do, or that they speak their own languages withdiffering dolphin dialiects in different areas.
      Catching marine creatures & keeping them in small water cages so they CAN be viewed by people & studied by scientists is something humans should not do to another feeling, thinking creature with it's own familial bonds & social culture (within it's own species), meaning they have their own specific needs to be mentally well. Caging an animal like that in a small pool of water, when they're made to travel oceans of water all their lives & be with some of their family members too (like Orcas's & some whale species also are), is cruel for humans to keep doing now thatwe know how cruel it is.
      But we probably would never would've known that without the tragic last century of capturing these beauriful creatures which allowed SO MUCH time to be spent learning about them. We've inflicted premature, unnecessary deaths and such pain on so many of them. It needs to stop, large huge areas should be set apart for reserves where they can be seen if a human wants to, but not this way we have let it be done for too long.

    • @octogonSmuggler
      @octogonSmuggler Рік тому +6

      @@johnbumpus7138These were probably raised in captivity and born in captivity. If they were released to the open ocean they wouldn't know what to do. This exact same argument was used with Keiko. He could never fully get accustomed to being at sea. He could barely hunt for himself. Yes it's incredibly sad, but that's the nature of these things. Luckily, it's now illegal to do that to orcas. Dolphins are more easily capable of surviving in this environment, however.

      @@BlaqueRainbowOh look at you, it's hard to fall from the high horse. Not all animals at the zoo are "trapped" there, in fact pandas are better off there than in the wild where they almost got extinct, this idiotic absolutist stance of yours is not grounded in reality. Many animals in the zoo are RESCUED and they can't live in the wild, if not for zoos pandas would be extinct, everything in zoos is adapted to their well-being and entichment. But go on and think that zoos are inherently "evil" seeing you didn't probably see the actual evil in your sheltered peivileged life.

      He put himself slightly lower as a sign of friendliness and lack of aggression and she instinctively did the same moving her head even lower still when she sort of squatted down. Once my tiny 6lb Maltese found herself visiting with a 3lb chihuahua and he was terrified of her. And she desperately wanted to play with him. So she got a safe distance from him (so he would stop shaking), and slid on her belly very slowly toward him-like an alligator-tummy flat to the ground. I had never seen anything like it. She stayed low and stopped like a foot from him and just stayed there. Eventually he got curious about her and started playing with her at last. They had so much fun.
