It was great working with you all and I’m almost excited as you are for your build! So thankful to have you guys as friends. God has blessed me richly. 💜😊
Hello I just subscribed to your channel by watching Kus we Kan farmstead. Love your build that’s going on always looking for ways to live off grid as we just moved on our property and we are currently living in a travel trailer and had just started our garden as we feel it’s most important and will be building on it possibly this fall to next spring. We are sharing the property with my brother that’s getting his tiny house built and a close friend of the family is also building on the property, getting his daughter please set up before the baby comes next week. Thanks for sharing with all of us love what you guys are doing. Have a blessed day❤
Great to see you back getting your homestead built. Great progress. I love the way others come in to help. just like the good old days. God bless you as you continue your build.
If you were going to put it on a slab, you can order fittings that will go into the concrete to place the ribs into. You just have to let Arched Cabins know, and they can be ordered with the kit
It’s probably optional, but Arched Cabins build manual states you put insulation up then the panels. Also, you’d have to get longer screws than whats given.

Hey Anna!
What a storm! I hope Bella wasn’t too scared. ⚡
No she wasn’t scared. When she was younger she would shake.

Very close.
Looks amazing! Great work.
On day 2 did you say "gaggle of hens" 😂😅
😂😂😂 no but that’s hilarious.. I said, “gaggle of people.”
@@ChasingFreedomHomestead ok... but I am pretty sure Brenda, Heather, & Kimmie would be either a gaggle or a giggle
🤣True that
lol!
I was gunna offer to help, but looks like ya got it covered. Looks good. You had heat, we got rained out on our build today.
Thanks, no worries! We surely could’ve used more help. If you’re interested of stopping by, shoot us an email.
If I were to hire a contractor to do all this for me how much do you think he will charge. Looks beautiful
Thanks. Don’t really know. Best guess it’d be in the thousands.
What are the things on top of the ladders called
Hi Edyn, they are ladder stabilizers.
Y'all know what you are doing
Thanks. We’re just novices figuring as we go.
I wonder how someone could anchor it to concrete/cement. 🤪❓

Is there a reason not to put wood sheathing over the metal frame? Is it optional or completely unnecessary?

@@ChasingFreedomHomestead interesting, thank you for the video!
What is the size of your cabin? The length and width?
It is 30’ W x 40’ L
@@ChasingFreedomHomestead ok thank you!
I don't understand the need to buy a shredder - when you live in a place that you can have a pit fire year round.
Yes we are aware of that. But we purchased it to use for mulching and to shred confidential papers. Thanks for watching.
