Very cool to see you not just reacting, but breaking things down for mere mortals like me who find the world of musical language totally baffling! LOL!
@@TheProgSchool If you don't want to do the reaction format (which I understand) you could also consider doing a little more in depth analysis after you've heard it multiple times off camera. I'd definitely watch that too! Always love to understand the songs I love a little better, but I'm not skilled enough. You definitely are
@@erik2602 that is what I do in most of my videos. Those videos take an obscene amount of time to make though. I thought the off the cuff style was worth a try.
@@TheProgSchool Fair point haha. Loving all your videos I've seen so far. Music theory analyses of prog songs is my absolute favorite, and you're way on the youtube top for me. More is always better, but I understand that takes a lot of time. You probably have other things to do during the day ;) I'd watch all of them though. Keep up the great work!
I respect your reaction way more than 99% of the reactions on youtube. At best most reactors try to analyse vocals but forget about the actual music. I don't care for vocal interpretations lmao.
I’ll take a look. If you want to look at the rhythms from the Alien, Shawn Crowder has a great video on that already. I have some other Dream Theater content in the works already at the moment.
It was great hearing your analysis. Just became a fan of your work! Keep up the good work man
Thank you!

Thanks! I’m not a fan of straight reaction videos. I figured I’d make it a little more interesting!
Deserves more views! Keep it up
Thanks!!
Good ear. Its impressive youre able to pick up these complicated guitar riffs with such ease.
Thanks! I spent a lot of time when I was younger learning Dream Theater songs, so I have an idea what their going to do.
Great reaction and analysis!! Would love to see more of these
I’ll do more, within reason. I don’t want to become a reaction channel!

@@erik2602 I do have other responsibilities, plus attempting to focus on my own music. But the analysis videos won't be stopping anytime soon!
Another great video thanks

I appreciate that! I’m not really a fan of reaction videos in general, and this is the only one I’ve done haha
Any chance you could analyze either Sleeping Giant, t/t, or The Alien off of this record?

Cool analysis
Thanks!
You are phenomenal man....
