Do you feed on God's word every single day? What's your reading or listening plan?

Hi Ann, I read one chapter every day or if the chapter is long, I divide them per section. I listen to your channel and use other resources for guidance. Quieting my heart before and after helps too. I keep a journal to write down my reflections and prayers. Thank you for making this channel. You're definitely following Jesus' ministry by doing this.

Thank you Ann. Rightly or wrongly, I get frustrated by 45-60-minute sermons. Succintness is a key communication skill well demonstrated in this talk.

Hi! The story about Jesus walking on water is not in Matt 22-36 but it’s in chapter 14 of Matthew. (Verses 22-36). Just a factual correction according to acts 17:10-12.

Saint Paul says in 1 Corinthians 11 v. 27, whoever eats and drinks unworthily consumes their damnation. I guess Paul and all the early Christians, for over 1500 years, got it wrong. I guess Christ didn’t mean what he said, and refused to correct his disciples who left when he really just wanted relationship with them. Thanks, protestant!

in John 6 Jesus is discussing salvation, accepting His body and blood on the cross. Then later in Luke 22 at the last supper, THAT is where He mentions actual communion, the body, and blood in Christ. And then Paul touches on it again in 1 Corinthians 11. Yes, communion is the real body and blood of Christ and isn't just a "mere symbol" as many evangelicals think. But John 6 is WHAT communion is BASED upon. Hope that helps, that took me 3 days of research to figure out lol.

If you want to take it totally literally, then why stop there. Jesus also said you will never hunger and you will never thirst, but yet I bet you still eat food and still drink water. John 6 is about faith.
Regarding 1 Corinthians 11 verse 27, you need to understand the context. Earlier verses are talking about terrible behavior during communion...such as:
"21 For in eating, each one takes his own supper ahead of others; and one is hungry and another is drunk. 22 What! Do you not have houses to eat and drink in? Or do you despise the church of God and shame [c]those who have nothing? What shall I say to you? Shall I praise you in this? I do not praise you."
And so in conclusion after verse 27 Paul says:
"33 Therefore, my brethren, when you come together to eat, wait for one another. 34 But if anyone is hungry, let him eat at home, lest you come together for judgment. And the rest I will set in order when I come."

@@spacecoastz4026 none of the early Christians thought it was metaphor. The apostles didn’t think it was metaphor. The disciples who left didn’t think it was metaphor. You’re willfully ignorant. Read irenaeus, Ignatius of Antioch, or any of the first Christians, then come back and apologize.

The disciples left Jesus because they had to eat his symbolic Body & Blood.
Jesus did really mean that his Flesh was Real Food and his Blood is Real Drink.🎉
That is just too strange to understand.
Thanks for making so much easier to stomach.
