Aston Villa are one of the most successful clubs in English football, but were it not for a man named George Ramsay, they may well have been lost to time. Ramsay spent a total of 59 years associated with the club, turning them into the most successful team in England, and the club will forever be in his debt.

This man should at least have a statue or stand or anything named after him, absolute legend of football.

He should, so should a few other legends and as the MacGregor one cost about 60k it wouldn't be expensive to do in terms of what the club turns over, you could have them dotted around Villa Park.
It would greatly enhance the approach to the ground and give the grand old place even more gravitas than it already has.
So Wes, Nassif if you're reading get cracking and one of these days we fans might insist you two deserve a statue amongst our heroes.
He was the man who made Aston Villa,one of my favourite respective English clubs ever to be the biggest club in England during the 1890's till 1910's and indeed,an Aston Villa legend for 50 years,good friends!!!REST IN PEACE AND WE WILL AND MUST NEVER EVER FORGET YOU DAILY AND EVER IN THIS WORLD AND OTHER PLANETS,GEORGE BURRELL RAMSAY SIR!!!🙏

@@afcfinners Of course good friend,he must be fully deserved to be appreciated with his contributions which he made with Aston Villa which most of the footballing supporters would not even want to and recognise the history of the club!!!🙏
If I know my football history correctly only Alex Ferguson has more English league titles as a manager, incredible when you think about it because only a true football fan ( or Villa fan ) knows his name.
We Villa fans have been waiting for the next Ramsay for almost 100 years, I've been waiting for over 50 years myself. I hope he turns up soon, I'm running out of years.
