- In this video we'll do a Top speed test for all 42 vehicles that are currently available in snowrunner, This will include all scouts, offroad trucks, highway trucks, heavy trucks and heavy duty trucks in game to find out which is the fastest out of them.

In reality, Russian license plates do not use purely Cyrillic letters (such as: Б/Г/Д/Ё/Ж/З/И/Й/Л/П/Ф/Ц/Ч/Ш/Щ/Ъ/Ы/Ь/Э/Ю/Я). Only letters that look like Latin are used (such as: А/В/Е/К/М/Н/О/Р/С/Т/У/Х).

It's got a massively poweful engine to make up for its lack of AWD, I'm not surprised it does well in a long, flat asphalt track
Tbh i'm not that surprised i used it in alaska. It just flies over icy roads with confidence, super stable in the corners. It's not that hard to keep the speed going. And there's not much that slows down those 63" tires.

Im more a fan of its ability to carry 4 load with no trailer slowing it down. Its one of the 2 trucks I bothered to bring to Russia.

If he was using the mud tires on the scouts it make sense the mud tires have terrible grip on the road
At the same time, in my 1500 I can hit about 73 mph if the guages actually work. And there is no slap shifting in this video either
Yeah, i dont think he did this right. My Int Loadstar goes 55+, and my CK1500 can do 70 in 2WD

Speed factors in when you look at it over the span of the game. Going faster might get you there 5 mins faster but over the whole games span adding all those 5 mins up is huge. Snowrunner has its fast side also.

@@SD1ONE going full throttle on neutral is not maximum fuel usage. All your previous fuel efficiency tests are way off. Try low or A with active handbrake, that gives you a better max fuel usage

Royal BM-17 is a great truck, apart from highest speed its off-road characteristics are pretty decent. It's great for 4 spot cargo handling.
I always use the high gear to launch trucks (after starting in auto) because it removes the struggle of the gearbox that most of trucks have. And most of the time I keep it because it's faster than auto in non ideal road like this one for the test.
that's what i do. it also causes the truck to... behave in strange ways like bouncing on its fucking side and flip.
Yeah, just stab it in High and then drop back to Auto if you lose too much momentum 😎
I like your style. I did this, but then realized if you quick tap the clutch button in "auto" mode you insta-shift into the most appropriate gear. This works for accelerating and decelerating (like starting to bog down in the mud). This also skips gears, so accelerating you can get massive speed boosts. Try it out, and use responsibly (or not, more fun that way)
I don’t know how you managed to keep the Kahn on the road, once mine hits 4th gear, I’ll either veer off into a power pole or summersault off the road

Well no surprise here most of the trucks have their max speed effectively halved compared to the real life counterparts, and fuel consumption increased by multiple orders of magnitude in order to give the impression of scale in maps

FYI, mud tyres have nearly no friction on paved road and chained tyres have almost as much friction as highway tyres, this was extracted from the games pak files and are posted on reddit, so chained tyres had a huge advantage vs mud tyres

Coming into this I had a feeling the bm17 would be up there but I had no clue it would be number 1. It was my favorite truck in the game early on thanks to its speed.

How can the Khan Marshall be so far down the list when it literally tries to kill you when you clutch kick it from 1st to 4th with the stick gear box... not to mention the highway gear box which is probably even more sketchy!

They have one troble with registration marks on russian cars. For registration marks In Russia, we use only that letters from russian that are simular to letters in english.
Thats why you can never see this letters on regisration marks: Б (sounds like B), Г (G), Д (D), Ё (Yo), Ж (Zh), З (Z), И (i), Й (iY), Л (L), П (P), Ф (F), Ц (с in "pencil"), Ч (Сh), Ш (Sh), Щ (SHCH), Ь & Ъ (soft sign and hard sign, uses to make sounds more soft or hard,
by themselves have no sound), Ы (Harder i (

I was surprised to see the Royal be 1st. I love using it; its my go-to truck for light loads and scouting.
Tatra 805 is looking like a pretty hot contender for redundantly fast, surprisingly.
ANK MK38 is definitely the quickest. I've tested it against every vehicle. I have a game clip of how fast this thing gets if you want me to send it. I'm on Xbox. I used the winter map with the international airport and my camera in first person fell behind the truck from achieving such incredible speeds. No glitches. Just a straight run
Just found the bm 17. Was driving and said to myself "damn this baby moves"....not surprised it was number 1.

Good shit as always… just what everybody wants to see
I was surprised by the results, especially Yar 87 vs Khan Marshall, so I did the exact same test myself, several times, with different configurations (but basically the closest as possible on both cars). Every single time the Khan was slightly faster. A few km/h at that fence at the half way, and a few km/h at the end of the straight road (although I wasn't able to get that one for the khan with the best engine and the highway gear).
I used the Azov engine, the Kr135 engine, the standard gearbox and the highway gearbox, AWD on and off on the Yar. I kept the default tires on both cars for one test and then the non default tires on the Khan for another test, then tested the Yar 87 "highest ranked mud tires" then the chained tires. For each config I did 2 or 3 runs. Difference isn't that big between 3 and 6 km/h but from all the tests I did there is no doubt the Khan is faster. It didn't lose a single test. Top speed isn't a huge difference but the acceleration is also way better.
PS: I'm just wondering, at the beginning of the the video you show on the Pacific truck how you measured the speed at the half way fence. But the results you get seem to be the results at the end of the straight line. This is way harder to measure with precision and less interesting as well, since you never run full speed for longer than half way that road in the game, and the cars often get uncontrollable from there anyway.

I have gotten the Twinsteer to over 60 mph on the airstrip in white valley.
Most important thing about speed is how fast it goes on high gear. Azov 5 is s beast offroader on H
Tayga is hands down the best Truck in the game. I use two of them. One with a Crane and Tow another with a Flat Deck, use it like a trailer. The only trailer out there that can Winch you out of the Rhubarb 🤟🙏
The only thing that makes it hard to be sure of is the tires used in the test. This is more of a practical speed test because no one uses highway tires for anything. But unfortunately not all vehicles have mud and chain tires to make sure the only variable is the vehicle itself. It made me happy to see the twinsteer so high up though, lol. That thing hauls ass.

I bought the high end engine for the Navistar, just for shits and giggles and it turns out, that engine makes this truck stupid fast. I literally sped up to 55 mph on some random road in Alaska

Yeah, I've had most of my scout vehicles faster that was was listed. Unless the vehicle gauges aren't accurate, but that'd be strange.

Nice vid great content. I just have 1 critique. I wish you could have at least shown the actual speed instead of them lumbering down the road at the same pace. I know the top speed is posted, but when you post 56mph and it looks the same as last place well it just looks a bit off
Why did you use mud or chained tires when you’re trying to test their top speed?
most people will be using those tires so probably makes sense
And most of the Russian vehicles are limited to all terrains/off road tires only. Along with the 2 Pacifics. Makes it more fair to use the same types through the whole test

Yes! I knew Royal would be the fastest cause I use the highrange gearbox and speed down the roads and drift and stuff, also it’s such a great and really good truck to drive and use.

Would love to see the same test with snowrunner box since thats everyones go to. No-one uses the highway box or tires as soon as they can get rid of them.
on trucks like the ank that have always on diff lock I you highway box because it is double as fast and the off-road but also depends on the map
I guess the Devs installed limiters in all these vehicles. Seeing as most of the real world counterparts are capable of actual highway speeds. Y'know, like, 100+ km/h.
still better than mudrunner where most vehicle cantt even break 60km/h mark
Why chained and mud tires instead of hightway or all terrain tires?

I think the usage of chained and mud tires makes this list at least somewhat applicable for practical purposes. If you can help it you simply _don't_ leave your garage without chained or mud tires in SnowRunner, so finding a maximally upgraded truck that uses highway tires on any map is quite the special scenario.
The list is still somewhat skewed, because trucks with switchable diff lock _do_ have a tradeoff for using the fastest transmission while trucks who have no or permanent diff lock can use that one with impunity (until the devs decide to patch the power output in low gear), but since the fastest trucks often belong to the latter category anyway it's a good, practical list overall.
because some vehicles come default with mud tires and thus the playing field needs to be evened out

How about a comparison which with fuel consumption? could do them all top gear with auto gearbox, diff+awd on.

I was actually quite suprised with the Ankh. I guess mostly because I couldnt get to that speed before I flip it, but yeah, twinsteer and the Royal are very scary if they get high gear
