Do wide bands affect slingshot accuracy?

What if your band is 30mm tapered and your fork tips are 22mm would you wrap the excess around the fork or fold and keep it at front of fork?

You can do either. To keep it in front, you can fold it in half or just fold the edges in. 😉

Hi Nathan, My name is Robert Bussiere and I live in Ontoagon MI, I bought your XT and your X slingshots and I love them both! As far as band width goes I cut my bands the same width as my forks, which is about 20mm.
One other question, in competition you are not allowed to use sights on a slingshot, on the scout x you have fiber optics are these considered sights? If so could you please make band clamps without the fiber optics,
for the scout x so that they can be used in competition? Thank you a fan always Bob

Thank you for your purchases, Robert. Sights in tournaments varies, it really depends on the one you are at if sights are allowed or not. You can use fingernail clippers to remove the Fiber Optic Wire and holes on the Scout X Clips. You will probably want to grab another set so you can have one with the sight and a set without the sights.
