I recommend you to use MoS2 Leichtlauf 10W40 1 years oil change or 10.000 km, shake properly before used, I'm pretty sure your engine will love it trust me
Whow, not bad. I have a similar car 300TD with OM603 from 1992 as a switch - tomorrow is on my channel a video online where I accelerate the car in 100 seconds from 0 to 160 ... ;-)
It’s the pump for the hydraulic rear shock absorbers, Niveauregulierung in German. I don’t know how many models came with it but all the diesel T-models that I have personally seen have it. Mine is the 300TDT and it has a different power steering pump which also feeds the rear shocks. So mine doesn’t have the pump seen in this video even though it has the same hydraulic shock system. That might be why you haven’t seen it before.
For a long engine life, you want to change the oil every 10.000km. If you drive only short distances or in cold temperatures, every 7.000km would be good. Filters should be easily available at Mercedes Benz.
If you live in EU you should definitely order your filters as well as other parts from AutoDoc! Insanely good prices but carry the same quality items as everyone else such as Bosch, Febi Bilstein, Brembo etc
Those engines are immortal. The body and chassis may fall apart but the engine keeps running. I have the same one
There a kid with jeep cherokee with this engine he got a kit to adapt to the stock trans
it's like a fancy pant euro 12 valve
Prawda, nigdy nie widziałem w Internecie na sprzedaż W124 z uszkodzonym silnikiem, nawet te bardzo tanie za 3-4 tys zł mają sprawne silniki wg opisów

What is the round thing on the front of the block, 200d and 250d don't have this?

Motor je nesmrtelný,ale vstřik mu tam ukapává. Ale jinak má najeto necelých 700.000km to je teprve zajetý.👍🔨😉
Stojí pár korun tryska a vyměněná je v cuku letu
Is this the oringinal engine?
Cannot be since the speedometer goes only to 200. Real 300D has a speedometer for 220km/h.
@@kuningas7 Maybe it's just not the original speedometer then

How long can this engine go without an oil change? Because it's been a year and I can't find a new oil filter replacement
