Warcrimes to-do list for FTL:
- Use Anti-Bio beam.
- Use Fire Beam.
- Disable enemy oxygen and let them suffocate.
- Disable enemy engines in an asteroid field and let the rocks kill them.

except the last one cz asteroids ALWAYS favor the player and ion storm favors the enemy
-mind control the enemy crew to make them kill thier friends
-hack the medbay when the wounded enemy crew is in there
- send kamikaze zoltans to kill the enemy crew

56:20 -- there's two versions of the event. If it doesn't say "his mental state is questionable", then it's always safe to take him aboard. In fact, you don't even have the option to leave him (the other one is to take him home).

I love kestrel B, I always try to go full laser builds with it. Last one I won was one bl2, one heavy mk2, one heavy mk1 and a hull mk1

Opening all the doors quickly restore oxygen to airless rooms.
The fire beam causes fires per tile, not per room, meaning that you'll have thrice the chance of a fire if you drag the beam over 3 tiles instead of one. You've targeted only one tile a lot and wasted your beam on already burning rooms
Yeah I remember that later on, luckily the fire beam is so pogged it still does wonders
@@spearmintz1 yeah, haven't watched to the end before commenting. But using the fire beam to its fullest potential can have amazing outcomes. I've killed rock ships via fire before, essentially just destroying all systems, including oxygen, and the fire will suck out the O2 as well, allowing you to crewkill rock with the firebeam

In my experience I don't usually accept surrender from slavers if I'm going to kill their crew anyway for the chance to get both scrap and crew or pick which race you want to add to the party.

i don't see the pre ignitor much in multiverse
I think you have to get it in the Earth quest chain, have a ship that starts with it, or find is rarer ofshoot. You are right though, the Pre-Igniter is extremely rare in MV.

how do you get this good at the game? i've had the game for about a week now and i still can't beat the flagship, not even on easy mode, not even with the best (according to tier lists) ship i have, the zoltan cruiser. Like it was fun starting out and i was ok with dying again, and again, and again but like now that i have been playing for a week and i still can't win on easy mode with an S tier ship i'm really losing intrest. is it ok to be actual garbage at the game this far in or is it just that i'm an idiot who doesn't know how to play?

So many times you fired two basic lasers at their small shields room just so you could use the fire beam, yet missed. If you know you can't hit the shields and you just want to take them down long enough to fire a beam you aim for a large room, which has a lower chance to dodge. I'm actually surprised you didn't know this as it's quite obvious and you seemed very skilled with the game 🫤
