So after all the trouble of getting to this maze and finding the batteries I find out I'm completely wasting my time if I want a perfect score, oof. Time to reload a save.
Fun fact: In the Switch version (which I suspect was based on a late beta build rather than the final build that the other versions use), there was debug text left in the top-right corner of the screen giving the room numbers for both this and the "alike" maze. (There was also a poster on the wall of the vending machine room with a reminder from management that "[t]his is *NOT* the maze where the pirate leaves his treasure chest".) As of Switch Ver. 1.0.1 (released Jan. 26 in NA), this has been corrected. Anyway, the rooms are numbered as follows: 0: maze of twisty little passages 1: maze of twisting little passages 2: little maze of twisty passages 3: twisting maze of little passages 4: twisting little maze of passages 5: twisty little maze of passages 6: twisty maze of little passages 7: little twisty maze of passages 8: maze of little twisting passages 9: maze of little twisty passages 10: little maze of twisting passages The exit is down from Room 0, and the vending machine room is south of Room 10.
On meta 3 if you drop item in room , it uniquely show you which room you in . Pick an unexplored exit , pick up item, and go . Repeat until all exits explored . Then if you drop items in multiple room , you see how rooms connect. Then when you find route . Screen shot
Really impressive that you mapped all of that out instead of looking up a guide for the 1970s version! Well done

Thx for this. Playing the ps4 version and couldn't find the battery room.
Nice job on the solution 😅 its the easier of the 2 mazes
And yet it took me longer to map out than the other one... :D
@@TripleSLeague did you do a video on how to solve maze all alike ?
Yes, it's in my queue to render and upload! Got caught up doing the 350pt walkthrough.
I did this but it didn’t work 😢
