Man, this means alot to me. I'm his grandson, Connor brakhage, the youngest of five. I never got to meet him, he died the year before I was born. Being able to hear his voice, see his face. Its a blessing I didn't know i needed in my life. I hope your doing well, and I hope good fortune comes your way for what you've given me.

Are you really his grandson? I don't mean any disrespect, but if so that is amazing.

@@worstward_ yeah, my father, Rarc brakhage, has told me a lot about his work, but never the impact it had. Best thing is, I've been interested in photography and cameras since I knew what it was. My dad still has quite a bit of his original film, pictures, etc. Never got to meet him, as he died the year after I was born (pretty sure anyways), but its nice knowing my interest was inhereted.

@@tonytyrone278 You may have found this out by now but your grandfather is one of the most astounding artists of the previous century.

Your grandfather truly was a unique specimen if not a genius. I discovered him in an experimental film class I took and was shocked to see things that for the longest time thought that only I was aware of when I closed my eyes appearing on the screen in the form of one of his hand-painted films from the 90s... "Stellar " if I'm not mistaken . I have sense than devoted a lot of time and a fair bit of money to researching him and his films and what he has done to figure out how he thinks and what he has to say about entoptic phenomena as I hear it's called, in hopes I may better understand the things that only he and I seem to be aware of...

I took a film class with your grandfather in Fall 1989. I had no idea who he was and by the end of the semester realized that he was brilliant, and one of the kindest men in film I have met. His class changed my view of film forever. It was a life changing experience.

@@Eno20 ah I was looking to quote him via a book rather than a UA-cam for my dissertation a few years ago. I’m so bad at reading. Thankyou for letting me know tho
