You guys, Blush Beauty Barbie is EVERYTHING!! Visiting my doll archive to debox this beauty who is part of the BFMC 2015 Collection. She was the fifth and final doll and a BFC Exclusive.
Can't even deal with the pure perfection of her pale pink satin ensemble. And the silver glitter shoes?! I can't.

I finally broke down and bought her (to qualify for the discount when also ordering the red headed Miss B&W Tweedy) I have to admit, when she arrived she was so beautiful, I almost cried! My favorite silky so far.

I LOVE your channel!! I sit around drooling over these clothes on eBay and I am an utter philistine because I would have them on my Fashion Royalty girls and my hybrids...I mean I would look after them well but I would use them on my dolls, not just look at them. This is the main reason I love what you do...I am now making patterns out of the best doll clothes I have and am spending more time trying to source good fabric that will work at this size. I think I just want to know all the secrets of the miniature tailoring and I want to learn...I even bought a small sewing machine that isn't the best but it does all the necessary stitches and over locking. I love seeing you talk about the clothes because I am ancient and it's rare to hear someone with your youth speak so knowledgably about fabric, sewing and fashion. I am of the generations who were made to do domestic science as they called it and the boys got to do wood and metalwork (which I would have loved) I am no great shakes but can see and knit and crochet which is great for doll fashion. Ok this is turning into a book. I want to see her clothes...I thought this one was a lingerie one..oh I love the shape of the coat and dress!

i agree with you about the old silkstone body, the non-articulated bodies are much better than the articulated ones, as well as with the model muse. the body type that they are using now makes it more like a playline doll :(

I decided to unbox with you but I opened Ruby Radiance Barbie and Sapphire Splendor Barbie, both I just found in a thrift store in perfect condition. As a hobby seamtress, I love the details as well. a lined little jacket is everything.

I agree about the articulated bodies, I wish Mattel would go back to the original bodies when it comes to silkstone Barbies. Articulated bodies and high fashion just don't mesh well together ( it makes them look a bit cheap in my humble opninion). Love the new detail in this video where you give definitions of the fashion terminology you use :) Another great review! Big hugs and kisses from Belgium :p

I recently bought Mermaid Gown with the intention of getting Blush Beauty as well and displaying them together. Those pale pinks? GAWD! Though I'm new to the Barbie scene, I really prefer the original unarticulated Silkstones. There's a weight and luxuriousness to the original bodies that the new ones lack.
YES YES YAAAAASSSS!!! You said it exactly right!! The outfits are BEYOND (still dying over this pale pink deliciousness) and the original Silkstones are just so freaking luxe and glam. Agree about articulation being odd on silkstones! The bodies are so rich and porcelain like delicate, they really dont need articulation, it's gilding the lily

I'm not a BFC member but the collector site let me order the $120 version that includes the artist sketch. Maybe this was a fluke or maybe just a way to let non-members pay more for an exclusive doll. After the sale and free shipping she came out to $90, so I guess I shouldn't complain, unless it really was a mistake and they decide not to send the doll.

Hey Suresh, just a question. for the dolls that are out their box? Do you keep the boxes? Should I start my collection off keeping the Barbies out the box? thank you!
Hi! I keep ALL the boxes of my designer and Silkstone dolls. And most of my other dolls. The only boxes I toss out from time to time are some of my Black Label Barbie Look dolls. I suggest keeping the boxes if you can because it's a great way to store the dolls if you need to move them, put them away for a while, etc. My dolls take turns on display so each one is only out on display for a month or so. Hope that helps :)
