I like to unbox my barbie dolls as well, especially the Silkestone ones. I admit that it is more challenging to protect them from the dust etc. but i find it much more enjoyable to have them out and interact with them. You do such a good job with your reviews. Your are very detailed and professional and at the same time so fun and spontaneous. It is a pleasure to watch your videos.
Ever since I started watching your channel I've been watching so many toy channels and I really started appreciating that you unbox them. So satisfying. 👌
I love this barbie. I started my collection since I viewed your videos. Even though I collect all the lines there are some I don’t have. So I live my love for them through your vids.

I have her too and you gave me tachycardia when you undressed her hehehe and for that I really commend you since you don't only unbox gorgeous dolls but you also discuss in detail their gowns/dresses from inside and out. I always love your detailed reviews riddled with fashion facts. Your viewers really learn so much from you. Take care and I hope you will make more reviews.
I believe I was one of the first subscribers to leave a comment on that first review you did on this doll. I re-watched that video and read my comment. I have to say that my opinion on this doll has not changed. I still think the best thing about her are her earrings and her shoes. She's is a beautiful doll, but that dress is not really a timeless piece. Omg, can you imagine that dress on an actual human being, one word comes to mind: TACKY! :p I hope you don't sell your silkstones. I would sell less valuable dolls to make room for new even more valuable ones :)
I don't think her gown will be everyone's cup of tea but I wouldn't say it's necessarily tacky. It's in the same vein of John Galliano's Dior, Charles James or Charles Worth IMO. Highly excessive and not for everyone! I would have been disappointed to see a boring column dress celebrating 10 years of BFMC...especially considering the original Delphine's super dramatic ensemble. All the same, thanks for sharing your opinion :)
A word of advice; be extra careful with the tulle and organza ruffles, they can easily tear! I had this lady in my collection, and I found a small tear on my doll's dress. Perhaps it might be poor tailoring on the specimen that I have, but it's worth being careful. Aside from that, I would really love for you to review the Silkstone Mermaid Gown next! I see that couture is your calling and I believe you should focus on more Silkstone and Designer dolls. If you decide to edit your collection, I suggest that you let go of those that doesn't belong to this theme..
Thanks for the heads up! I'm generally very, very careful with delicate fabrics like tulle, organza, and most any silk blend fabric so she has been handled with the utmost care. I'm sorry to hear that your doll has a small tear! A little clear nail polish dabbed on the spot will keep the tear from spreading. And yes, I definitely LOVE couture :) I have Mermaid Gown and she's coming up soon! Along with a few others from the same collection. I am SO excited for those dolls!

makeup ✔ hair ✔ outfit ✔ , everything is on point. but the more details something has the bigger potential for flaws. the embroidery does look like Chinese dragons! I wonder what dolls your selling? any of the silktones? lovely review as always 👠
I went to FIT (Fashion Institute of Technology) in NYC. Parsons in NYC is also good. There's the holy grail of design schools in London--Central St. Martin. The ones in LA and elsewhere don't have much street cred. Hope that helps!
