I love this type of ASMR so much! Usually button pressing videos are just people button smashing incoherently, so this is super refreshing. Just normal, consistent, realistic sounds of someone actually playing a game! I’ll definitely be checking out your other videos, this is the first one of yours I’ve seen 😊
I agree and the only games where button smashing makes sense are A. Fighting games that you’re bad at and B. Winter games because of the needlessly complicated button combinations.
I have to say, you are 100% the asmr master of "less is more". Just pure, undisturbed sounds :) I feel like a lot of new artists are too focused on visuals and how THEY look rather than the quality of their content, not to mention all these weird fetish channels that have been popping up lately.....anyway, I love that you keep it all about the sound quality! If it wasn't an old Mario Kart game, I probably would have thought you were bad but based on what it looks like, I completely understand. I'm the type of person who plays the newer MK games religiously, especially Mario Kart 7 when I'm coming home from school, and seeing how, I guess, tight the tracks look makes it easy to understand why the game was so difficult.
The only bad thing about asmr is before you click on the video you turn your volume all the way up and then the loudest add decides to play and scares you half to death
