This loss and bob Jenkins has crushed me. Ugh man does cancer fucking suck. RIP Robin. So sad you’re gone but you lived a hell of a life and one we all could only hope for!
Brother me too. I take an antidepressant which makes it very hard for me to cry about things. I had tears coming down my cheeks at the end of this video. Heck man I'm bout to choke up writing this
One would be hard pressed to find a Soul who personify's Indy car Racing & especially the Brickyard like Robin Miller, The man dedicated in entire life keeping us all updated & in the loop, His Legacy & Love for Indy is immeasurable & will never be forgotten, Ladies & gentlemen starting in 34 position Robin Miller,
Impossible to imagine Indycar without him. There is no substitute for his heart and passion. Who will tell the stories? Who will share with the fans and keep the conversations going? I'm so sad to think of my beloved sport without him. I feel blessed to have met him, mostly in an elevator at the Hilton in Baltimore, where we kept running into each other LOL. Even if he was busy working and you gave him a shoutout "Hey Robin!" he always acknowledged you. He loved the fans as much as the drivers, owners, teams, etc. I believe he did the work he did mostly for the fans as he so loved racing and wanted everyone to share his passion. RIP Robin
There is a fella David Land who's been covering Indycar and other motorsports with his UA-cam channel. He's even done some low level racing. He recently moved to Indianapolis to get right in the heart of the series. He's been gaining friends and sources in the paddock and gets lots of information. He's no Robin Miller obviously but has definitely been influenced by Robin. So now with Marshall Pruett taking most of his time to care for his wife as she battles cancer, I think David Land will be the reporter giving us the behind the scenes coverage and interviews we desire. I met him at Gateway and he was the first to interview Romain Grosjean as soon as the race ended. Love Indycar! RIP Robin Miller ☮️❤️🎵🌍🤗🏁
Robin was in my grandstand reporting for the 2018 Toronto Indy. I Got a little screen time as well! Seemed like a really cool guy, and even before I met him he was someone I always enjoyed listening to. Rest In Peace Robin, you’re a legend.
Dug Roove yes I am a subscriber of David, and yes I agree with you! He is on that path to be the inside reporter of the sport for us! David does a great job!
Thanks for posting this - a great reminder to be kind and take care of your loved ones. Loved how honest Robin was right to the end. Spoke to him at Nazareth in early 2000’s - asked if he wanted to hear a gripe about the speedway closing grandstands. He said “talk to me” - Thanks Robin
Just loved Robin so much!! An incredible guy with incredible stories about racing!! He just never realized how much he was loved until near the end…❤❤❤❤❤
Sad sad news of Robin Millers passing loved his interviews and insights. To me a he was the motor racing guy who always spoke from his heart you always knew what he was thinking. In a way like Charles Barkley you may not like what he says but you know exactly where he was coming from. Robin you will be missed by many! RIP! Cancer Sucks!
Thank you so, so much for sharing this. I got choked up at the end. Robin helped all of us keep our sanity during the split. He was the only one with enough balls to tell it like it was. I first saw him during the RPM 2 Night days and everything after. I’m so happy he got to go to IMS one last time and to also receive this honor from the HOF. IndyCar won’t be the same. I’m going to miss that old curmudgeon. Thanks again.
Thank you Robin. I am blessed to have sat and talked with you at the LBGP. Thank you for your dedication and your heart put forward in every article you ever did.
08:30 RIP Robin Miller you were a friend to many and respected by all.. once a Racer, always a Hall Of Famer... congrats.... from your friend, 83RacerX
Sorry I never got to meet you Miller and am so glad you got into the HOF just in time. I know you saw what happened to Rindt, at least you got a day or two with it.I was genuinely thrilled for you. Wow, what a ride!
It was during the double header IndyCar/NASCAR weekend. The ceremony for the hall of fame is in September, but everyone knew Robin wouldn't make it, so RP and others arranged something at the Speedway.

The heart of Indycar..and always was...even when some didn't want to hear him. But he always spoke from the heart and his love of Indycar racing
He was the most honest journalist I've ever seen report.

God bless Robin Miller. RIP.
The guts one needs to go head to head with AJ. Robin Miller had courage.
There's never going to be any replacing Robin, but who is going to step up and pick up the mantle?
thanks for posting.
There just isn’t another human being that can personify the Indy Car family like Robin could. 😔 😞 😢
I was saying to myself how is he talking about this without crying. In an odd way his illness brought him something few get.
Damn Im going to miss him !

When was this ??
It happened earlier today from what I understand.
this was 2 weeks ago
It was during the double header IndyCar/NASCAR weekend. The ceremony for the hall of fame is in September, but everyone knew Robin wouldn't make it, so RP and others arranged something at the Speedway.
@@jamesscully529 thank you. Yes that’s right I remember a few drivers pointing out robin was at the track. I think it was Dinger.
Never did like this dude for some reason but sucks he died.
