    I sure wish the one with the white shirt would stay off his phone. If he stops for more than 3 seconds, he picks up his phone. I would NEVER hire someone like that.

      That’s Ellis. He’s genuinely a really good worker. We just laid 196m2 of artificial grass for a nursery. And was barely on it. 👌🏽👍

      The joys of running a business. We also do contract work for schools and nurseries. Some days it’s quiet. Other days it doesn’t stop. Today I had 97 phone calls. All business from different departments. Domestic customers and other contractors I use like grabs and skip hire. I do it all myself including all social media. Website and UA-cam vids

    Looks a good transformation, I would have a path leading down the garden

      Most of the grass will be taken up by a pool I’m sure 👍

    Looks nice & tidy, but.... I would be concerned that the material under the topsoil and turf was not brocken up and taken away and the sleepers come in to direct contact with the backfill topsoil.

      Price unfortunately was the key on this job. That sub base was failing and draining incredibly well. All the landscaper from about 4 were completely loose. We actually put a good
      120-150mm of premium topsoil down.

      @@dpsgpm if the customers not willing to pay the extra fair play. You seen the geocermica porcelain labs yet. Interesting they are. Prep the ground like Ur doing block paving and then put um down. Keep at it.

      You are joking? Bunch of cowboys. That area needed the concrete removed from where the slabs had been laid, the ground rotavated and then top soil brought in. Properly compacted and then turf laid. Might look nice now, but it won't drain properly and will become waterlogged in winter

      We had heavy rain come in one night. We arrived in the morning just after it finished and wasn’t a puddle in sight.

    turf here in Texas would not live on all those rocks with the thin layer of soil-- too hot and dry

    • @dpsgpm
      @dpsgpm  18 днів тому

      The layer of soil wasn’t actually that thin it’s a good 120-150mm of premium topsoil and the sub base was draining incredibly well. Customer did not want the price of digging it all up.

    良さげですね。
    元の地面を見ると固そうで芝生の床土の厚さが少し足りないように思いますが、これくらいで十分なんですかね?
    いい感じに仕上がって良かったです。

    Half a job. So you just dumped the top soil over all the old base. You should have removed the old cement and rubble, not just buried it. Maybe if houd spend less time on your phones youd have been more productive
