Daytime Sea Trout on the River Camel - September 2023

I enjoyed a stunning morning of late season flyfishing on the River Camel in Cornwall, UK. This water is on the Liskeard & District Angling Club water. You can find them at ldac.org.uk/
After a slow start I had some beautiful fish caught including a playful daytime sea trout (or peal as they're called down here) as the fish woke up after a downpour.

The Carmel is amongst mu favourite sea trout rivers. This is clearly on the higher reaches, upstream of Wenford Bridge?
