People who listen to today's music have no clue what real music is. So many greats starting from late 1960 to a few still today. Greg Allman had a voice and a soul regardless of some of his choices he learned from it. Nobody is perfect. The world got a gift
Gregg Allman was a Beautiful Soul, and just seeing him all alone, singing one of my favorite songs, “Come and Go Blues” made me very happy. You just do not see any musicians, just playing in the rawest acoustical form, and then stop and critique yourself during your performance, and restart where you stopped to tune your guitar string. As far as his very sexy Southern soulful voice, there will never be another one like it. Gregg Allman is & will be missed.

Gnat Bermbaum there’s a lot of them to choose especially from his era. I don’t think it’s a competition just be thankful that it’s hear for us to see and hear. This is anything than an outstanding performance depending wat u looking for. Perfect it is not but I love the sloppy, ragged ass, junk, soul, r&b playing cats the best. ✌️&❤️
Addiction is a terrible killer, but Gregg overcame everything and lived sober before He passed. His book My Cross To Bear is one book everyone should read . Beautiful song and performance
I got to see them in about 1990 Oceanfront Center in Daytona and I was right up there in front. It was a great show. I still get my tickets, my T-shirt, and my little mushroom pin that I bought
And I ask myself; will we ever be on this planet with musicians as great as these guys and a handful of others again? I say probably not. It’s been 30 to 40 years now and there are still very few that could rival these bands. Oh well, thank God for recordings.
Pure talent when you can sing alone without any instruments or auto tune. Love the Allman brothers. Has the most beautiful hair on a man that I've ever seen. He was so manly and had natural sex appeal. Ride on Midnight rider.

Nobody sings like him in these days. Not even his sons. This is soulful and beautiful. I can listen over and over. ❤. Oh and i forgot to mention .no other musicians needed. He was the best looking in these times.
He's so high here, oh my. I always felt so bad for him after he lost Duane. He was never the same. Loved those guys, for ever and ever. I used to lock myself in my room and play their records over and over. Thank goodness for headphones.
Si, you're so right; he never was the same after he lost his brother. I think he was a tortured soul until the day he died. So sad..RIP Gregg; such a beautiful man!
I totally agree !!! ...Gregg allman has more talent in his little finger than most of todays performers have totally....All of them put together! ...I have enough talent to play and sing a little....but talent like this makes one envious.... I guess I should be grateful for the talent I posses....And I am truly....But honestly you don't see talent like this everyday....Or even every decade....Truly amazing! ...One lucky guy !! ..and the thing is Gregg realizes that....He knows he is gifted....and he is truly appreciative of his talent...Just a great , down to earth guy !! .....He's old now...like myself....and we're both thankful we've made it to old....lol ..There was more than a good chance neither of us would reach old.....Gregg and I both lived our lives a little ...no a lot on the dangerous side....We're both VERY lucky to still be here.!!!
Hey Buck, I love your choice of music, why isn't there any of your stuff up on UA-cam? BTW, you should check out our LIve From The Living Room version of Multi-colored Lady.

A Capella a cappella [(ah kuh-pel-uh)] Choral singing performed without instruments. The expression means “in chapel style” in Italian. Centuries ago, religious music composed for use in chapels - which, unlike large churches, had no organs - was usually for voices only.
Thank God they kept the tape rolling on the break and captured this. The mistake makes it even more authentic. Gregg was such a talented dude. What a voice! He was always "channeling" .
Gregg Allman...you were a GIFT to us. Your music, your heart & Soul, your beautiful "looks"...you were the whole package!!! So thankful we were blessed with many years of your music. Gone but NOT forgotten💯💙🤎💛❤💥🔥 "It seems to me, that I once heard everything is finally cured by Time... sail on..."
Gotta love these "warts and all" performances. Seems so genuine and true to who Gregg is. I could watch it over and over several times and not get tired of it!
I honestly wish more groups these days were musicians and musically inclined, let-alone possessing musical talent (they are just too few and far between). This man, among many from the 70's had talent, music ability and creativity in spades. Fantastic clip...even with lousy youtube/computer sound it still sounds GOOD.
Additionally, it makes the talented blues musicians of today all the more special! Try listening to Shakey Graves, Leon Bridges, or any other NPR TDCs.
Kevin Knauer I’m trying to make my way and I find that using the old guitars and amps that they have an individuality a sort of soul that these new ones that are a dime a dozen sold a guitar centers are lacking that sound and feeling. I’ve got ‘62 & ‘72 archtops and ‘63 hollow body electric guitars. I never would want anything past 1979. But it’s hard because everyone just wants to hear what’s being promoted and rotated and I’ve always been interested in the rare songs and takes like this one. Not another version of Wagon Wheel
Cody Pankey I don’t hate on em, they’re like a tool for opening experiences which become stories. Just gotta have responsibility and will power to go along with you these days
I almost did, I was on Little Tybee Island camping about 25 miles from where he lived and had no idea. My sister in law told me. I bet I sat on the beach for an hour thinking about it at 7 o'clock in the morning watching the sun rise over the ocean on the first day of my life without Gregg Allman.
Why do we cry ? We still have the music. I think a large part is because underneath the loss we're reminded that our own star will eventually burn out too and we've not come to terms with that...yet. Peace n love y'all !

Greatest white blues (R&B) singer ever!!!!!!!!!
Music has no colour. Never has and never will.
Add Paul Rogers, and I am ready for being stranded on a desert island!
one of the great blues singers period.
Joe Cocker, Blues,R&B, Rock, #1
Addiction is a terrible killer, but Gregg overcame everything and lived sober before He passed. His book My Cross To Bear is one book everyone should read . Beautiful song and performance
breaks my heart so bad to know he's gone. But his music will stay with us as long as we're alive. Rest in Peace
great song R.I.P brother
You guys can not even imagine how much this song means to me! ❤
Same goes for Melissa.
We talked about the old days and our mistakes 💔
Greg allman passed to better pastures today. You will be missed. You brought a lot of joy to my life and to others. Peace.
I got to see them in about 1990 Oceanfront Center in Daytona and I was right up there in front. It was a great show. I still get my tickets, my T-shirt, and my little mushroom pin that I bought
RIP Gregg Allman!! You are missed everyday!!
It must b wonderful to have something so beautiful spill outta ya like that ….thank you !
So sad to lose him... but how lucky are we to be on the same planet at the same time this man lived?
And I ask myself; will we ever be on this planet with musicians as great as these guys and a handful of others again?
I say probably not. It’s been 30 to 40 years now and there are still very few that could rival these bands. Oh well, thank God for recordings.
This is great music. Honest and real!!
We all need to be sure to pass this along to our family and friends, cause there maynever be another!
Amazing harmonics and bell ringing. Greg Allman was an incredible talent. RIP
Pure talent when you can sing alone without any instruments or auto tune. Love the Allman brothers. Has the most beautiful hair on a man that I've ever seen. He was so manly and had natural sex appeal. Ride on Midnight rider.
I agree, Gregg was just gorgeous in his hey day. Gorgeous hair and that voice....SEXY!!!!
Gorgeous hair. Sexy man
And the way he walks in RUSH...when the house band is playing wang dang doodle. Lawd that man can walk!
@@lukeloveslauraalwaysyep
@@shellywatson2784 I saw him later in life at an Indian Casino doing a solo show in a small venue...even then his hair was life spun gold...sun beam shining through his hair...in my day I've seen a lot of concerts but I'll always rank this one in my top 3 favorites
The polished version is great but this is the real blues soul of Greg . RIP brother.---- A fan since 1969. NJ
The BEST version of this song EVER!!! And he was F'd up!!! :)
Rose Vieira straight when he passed away.I miss my friend
oh yeah love how he fucks up gathers himself n like * cut * n then just rolls on just so cool
He truly was flying while doing this song. Looked like heroine.
Who cares. Why even say that. Your F up and don't even know it. And Randi take one to know one. Hope you do as well as he did. Marilee is right.
I miss him. He was straight in the end
OMG : He was so beautiful and sang like an angel !!!!!
My favorite Band of all time and one of my favorite songs..RIP Greg Allman
Nobody sings like him in these days. Not even his sons. This is soulful and beautiful. I can listen over and over. ❤. Oh and i forgot to mention .no other musicians needed. He was the best looking in these times.
2023 August still Love This, Messed up and sings great with feeling.
Absolute perfection.No mixes.No overdubs.Pure,raw.The real thing.Sail on brother Gregg
Man this is killer! He was awesome
I absolutely love that song
I play the acoustic guitar and I’ve watched him play this 100s of times. I Believe I’ve got it down
I'm trying to figure it out is he in some kinda open tuning?

Throw us a nine post a lesson
Best music video on the internet. . .and it's not even close! So much talent and authenticity doesn't exist anymore.
This is just sublime! RIP Gregg! We miss you so much!!
another version from graham nash's " inside track " 1991 couple other songs real sweet
So much raw talent, skill, and feeling played
just discovered a whole new side of gregg allman. what a soul..
Hunter Andrus I hear you. Me to.
A masterpiece of an explanation of deep seated pain from a lost love. This song is deeper than the oceans!!!
He put all of his heart and soul into every tune he sang....
This is the best acapella/natural guitar I've ever seen...
I glad you're still here too Buck. I loved your post...so down to earth and humble bro. Personally, I think people like YOU are hard to find. Keep playing man and keep being real.
Thank you Sun Child!!!
A Capella
a cappella
[(ah kuh-pel-uh)]
Choral singing performed without instruments.
It don't get no better this is legendary music. It will never happen again like this this is a real legend
Gregg Allman...you were a GIFT to us. Your music, your heart & Soul, your beautiful "looks"...you were the whole package!!! So thankful we were blessed with many years of your music. Gone but NOT forgotten💯💙🤎💛❤💥🔥
"It seems to me, that I once heard everything is finally cured by Time... sail on..."
Gregg was amazing!!!!!! Beautiful
Gotta love these "warts and all" performances. Seems so genuine and true to who Gregg is. I could watch it over and over several times and not get tired of it!
Goodbye, Gregg Allman. Your voice will forever be embedded in my memories. Goodbye.
Nobody can sing like him!He s great! Love him!!!!!!!!
I honestly wish more groups these days were musicians and musically inclined, let-alone possessing musical talent (they are just too few and far between). This man, among many from the 70's had talent, music ability and creativity in spades. Fantastic clip...even with lousy youtube/computer sound it still sounds GOOD.
Kevin Knauer
Kevin. Those days are long gone. The rely on fake vocal electronics to create any vocals today in a tweak to sell to create to a sound good
Miss him so much! Tomorrow 5/27 will be 2 Year’s we lost him
When he passed away I cried.
The news of his passing hit me very hard...I will always remember that night. I cried and couldn't stop. What a loss...
My husband got home from work to a sobbing mess...Mea and had no idea what was wrong! My Soul was crushed that day...
I lost my husband when so so young...when Greg died it almost hurt as bad. His music was a constant companion...still is!
Beautiful - raw talent. Love.
