Can you please explain your tactic? It’s not clear in the video. Did you let 2 of your Tier 2 rides expire and then you just rebooked? Were you already in the park when they expired and when you rebooked? I’m arriving in 1 week, so my 7-day window opens tomorrow and I’m still trying to figure out the best plan! We’re planning to visit Epcot on our arrival day, so arriving late morning/noon and then returning for extended hours.

Due to the heat, I didn't go crazy but seeing how it was helping my daughter...I might when its cooler out.
I watched an allears video & they said the only way you are eligible to book a new selection after an expired selection is if you are scanned into the park. It did NOT work if you weren't scanned into the park.
Now I don't know if you could be scanned into ANY park or just the park where the expired attraction is????

I don't know the particulars for them?? I was already on property? Or it was a glitch? The system needs more time to tell as Disney will keep updating and adjusting it.

We are doing Epcot in the morning, planning on rope dropping and aim to be out of the parks after our lunch reservation that's at 12:30.
We are staying at a skyliner resort, would you rope drop Remy or Frozen? Do you think we can get both done at a rope drop in mid-august? Soarin and meeting princesses is our other goal

Thank you so much for another great video. I’m trying to learn as much as I can for our trip in 5 days. Did you say the system let you book new/tier 1 lightning lanes after those early morning tier 2 ride times expired?? I’ve seen videos where people attempted that and the system wouldn’t actually let them start making new lighting lanes until after they scanned into to park and into a ride. We’re just trying to strategize for the days we’d like to sleep later
It did and I heard that might not be the case for all??? There were LOTS of glitches those first days, so only time will tell as I said in the video. Even now, some APP issues are still happening. Thanks for watching/commenting!
I was wondering about this as well and another vlogger said that he couldnt book another pass until he actually scanned in to his first ride not even when it expired unused.. but that was day 1. So Ill wait to see where the app dust settles!

Were you able to book a new selection after letting your tier 2 rides expire BEFORE you scanned in from your hotel?
It did, 1 ride. But I was on property with a Park Pass Reservations. Not sure if that matters or if it was a glitch. System needs more time to work out the issues. Thanks for watching/commenting!
When you pick your first 3 rides and the screen shows a little box with a - in it, does that mean you cannot select that ride as one of your first 3 rides?
There is a DASH line on rides that are either SOLD OUT/GONE/Unavailable or you can't pick them as you got something else. Thanks for watching/commenting!
