Put big tires. Ones that touch when it is upside down. That's how those RC toys they sell work. The tire diameter is bigger than the thickness of the chassis.

Please, please, Please make a video showing how you built Oscar, I soooo want to do this but have no idea what to buy for long range transmitter/receiver combo, and cameras and goggles, antennas. I want to be able to do this in my neighborhood and around where I live, going out to the desert and driving around sitting in my car
