If I see an all Melee team in blind pick, you know I'm playing Petal Dance/Giga Drain. Build might have a 45-47% winrate, but when you know how to play it, you dominate games
If you get an early lead on it in path it can steamroll big time. Being among my favorite builds I hope they don't buff it.
I've been playing this build for the first time and it's strong and fun, but the biggest problem for me is that your Leech Life constantly gets cancelled which can leave you in a bad spot, especially if the entire enemy team is around. It looks like Jake's was cancelled around 10 or so times in this video. That and it can be really awkward in team fights, and Buzzwole's clunky Unite makes it even more awkward. Crowd control can also be quite devastating for this build. Comparing it to Goodra honestly feels very accurate.
Sorry for the little wall, just thinking out loud. I'm going to keep playing this build and learning more, but to me Superpower still feels like a safer and more comfortable pick.
I've tried out the Leech Life/Lunge Build a couple of times myself, and I've done ok with it. I just need to get comfortable with using it more often, as well as Leech Life/Smack Down. Super Power/Smack Down is normally my go-to Build for Buzzy Boi.
It definitely is the Goodra/Scizor effect - if you can have a game where you aren't immediately smacked with fire spin fox, A9, volt pika, surf bro, mamo, umbreon, or something that can just kite it forever - you can snowball games where leech isn't interrupted. But once about 2 of the characters can stun you consistently, it feels much more like a bush hiding assassin who jumps in second than a brawler that can help in team fights.

I say it all the time but Mamoswine with 6 Brown/White focused towards HP, holding Resonant Guard, Weakness Policy, and the Rapid-Fire Scarf, It keeps him in the fight for so much longer and with the defense boost that he got to his passive however long back it pairs really well with the attack boost with weakness policy and having the extra health and shields to take all of that incoming damage, plus with him having all of The interrupt from his entire kit and then having the extra amount of stun from his basics from the scarf it just makes him a threat there have been countless matches I've played where I've top laned by myself
My favorite no-credit build is Icicle Crash/Earthquake Mamoswine. The crash slow helps hit quake knock ups and vice-versa. With stun resets on your boosted timed right, it's an insane brawler
Mamoswine in general is kinda underrated, I don't see a lot of it in casual play, only competitive

Don't forget that Earthquake has this pull that draws enemies to Mamo, which combos into your Icicle hitting everyone you just caught with Earthquake

MidPointQ: Right now my most used build I feel know one knows about, since Ho-oh release, is Fly/Sky-Attack. The mobility even after the nerfs is just wild and you can pick off others quite easily and just create a lot of pressure with your versatile presence all match. I especially like it in the last two minutes of the match.
As a gold ribbon Buzzwole player, Lunge has always been my go to. The mobility on it is insane. Especially good for getting in or out of battles
My no credit build is playrough-whirlpool Azumarill. Always close the gap between the strong long range pokémon, because makes you faster and heals yourself hitting more consistently than the telegraphed aqua tail (which I love to use too, but it's easier for enemies to avoid that or being in 4 under the attack, reducing the dmg). For example I didn't have problems when Mega Mewtwo Y was broken times ago, because I just jump on them with playrough and they disappear
if the enemy team doesn't have too many stuns, i love to use drain crown,scope, scarf on ground chomp, with crit emblems
Been playing Buzzwole for a while, very happy to see you understand the Buzz brain mentality. My biggest beef with this build prior is that it sorta gets randomly denied against certain team comps. Trying to Leech Life a suddenly Unstoppable enemy or an Eevee with a CC-immune passive up, and having to deal with an 8 second cooldown for that mistake was devastating. At least Superpower still went through the motions of slamming nothing down for some damage. But now with the changes, Leech Life is calling back to me like the days of old.
And a strange build I enjoy: Metagross jungle. Take a bit of speed in a Charging Charm, and running Meteor Mash/Magnet Rise. It gives you a good chunk of mobility for pressure with a classic level 5 burst combo for quickly turning tides in a lane. It's not top tier or anything, but it's effective at quick burst on a target while still being beefy to survive the aftermath of getting in there.
I've been using razor claw, rapid-fire scarf and muscle band with 17+ attack emblems. This is the Buzzwole Meta²
Mamoswine icicle crash + earthquake is such an underrated build imo. Far easier to aim than high horsepower and it pulls them into you so they are stunned exactly where you want them. Also the damage is ridiculous
If you mix and match your moves according to the teams with Buzzwole you should be in pretty good shape.
My most favorite match with Buzzwole so far after the patch was with Smack-Down/Leech-Life. You can just control the flow of a fight as long as it doesn't get too hectic. Having Amp/Buddy-Barrier also helps to create opportunities.
Bullet Seed Greedent can be great if played correctly. My friend/teammate knows how to play it right, and he gets lots of great value from it. I built a team around Greedent invade to use in a tournament and we destroyed the enemy team.
Yep, it is the Goodra Theorem. Sometimes recovery isn't everything.
I've been using leech life since release, and it's awesome. Heals a ton, it can stop stupid things like Charizard after unite, it has a pretty good burst against objectives.

Okay everyone hates on this but I love outrage extreme speed Dragonite! I think it works sometimes because no one expects it since it has a low win rate hahaha

QOTD - petal dance/giga drain vena or curse/horn leech Tree. People give me so much crap for these builds but i have so much success with them.
They need to just make leech life unstoppable
It'd also help if the damage stayed even if the character got moved (like if they got pushed away by a trev horn leech). Superpower already always does main target damage even if the characters can't be picked up and be smacked, so the fact your ally can break your attack sometimes sucks (no pun intended).

Idk about what they will do. But what they should do is improve matchmaking, vamp up the chat report system, severely penalize repetitive afk, bug fixes and delete comfey from the game 😊😊
Slightly buff some pokemon and nerf some to change meta and keep things exciting
1. Add more game modes and events with rewards, especially Holowear. Pokémon UNITE is only just Ranked because nobody cares about Standard and Quick Matches. Events that don't need spending money to get the rewards is going to make players play something else, keeping the game fresh.
2. Add a new map. It's been so long since we got a new map. When Theia Sky Ruins came out, it's a breath of fresh air with mechanics to explore (Rayquaza, Farm spawns, The Regis), but now it has gotten incredibly stale. Desert, Beach, Ocean or Volcano theme maps would be very cool.
3. Add new held items and emblems. Give us more options to experiment with our builds!
4. Buff underperforming Pokémon/Reworking Pokémon. While you can win with any Pokémon as long as you are good with it and know what you are doing (like you said: the game is mostly balanced), some Pokémon are not doing as well as others (Machamp, Goodra, Aegislash are ones that come to mind). Some passives (Gengar, Machamp) or the Pokémon themselves (Goodra) need complete Rework to their kit.
5. Add a Power Point system so that moves won'tbe as spammable, especially Crowd Control. The game can be frustrating to play with all of the CC because YOU CAN'T MOVE. MOBAs have mana and when you ran out of mana, you can't use moves (go back to Base to refill it). Players will have to keep in mind of their PP usage and know the right time to use it. Makes the game less frustrating.

-Ranked rework
-Emblem crafting instead of relying on the Gacha
-Unlimited emblem load outs instead of having to pay for them.
-NO MORE POINT-AND-CLICK DMG, CC & UNITE MOVES!!! (Charizard, Tsareena, Mimikyu, Volt Tackle Pikachu, Icicle Spear Glaceon, Liquidation Inteleon, Stored Power Espeon, Mean Look Umbreon needs rework)

Matchmaking improvements would definitely be great.
Still a handful of items that could be balanced. Lots of QoL improvements like indicators are bars that shows what abilities/passives are doing and their current status.
Introducing more emblems for new builds. Some moves & movesets could be reworked to have viability or new relevance.
If things get too boring they could introduce a wide-sweeping patch that gets rid of a bunch of unnecessary CC and that could open to further patch opportunities down the line.
They should suggest Items more effectiv.. Tired of Shellbell & Leftover Greninjas.. You shouldn´t be able to use Spz. Atk Items on Atk. Mons

A play style that I personally love but never see on anyone else is
Shadow Claw / Iron Head on Aegislash
I think the play style is so smooth and fun, and I use iron head when not in battle to build up my critical hits.
I've got a 58% win rate with it, so I'm not fussed
I love Char Flare blitz and flamethrower. Idk how good the wr is on it though
100% dynamic punch cross chop machamp atk weight razor scope, it's my og build and it can do really well

I see how lunge is arguably better than smackdown, but I can’t help but laugh whenever I suck down half a health bar, and then punt them to a teammate with no follow up like a half eaten sandwich being tossed to a dog.

I play feint atk , cut with cookie, focus and guard, trying to dodge their moves rather than fully diving in, good against allrounders, very bad against sure hit moves like volt tackle-electroball

I'm a big fan of Icy Wind/Ice Shard on Glaceon. I think more Auto Atrackers should have moves that enhance their basic attacks like that.

People are sleeping on ancient power dark pulse Tyranitar. It has cc immunity, and it can mow down anything. If there's a Wiggly ult or Blissey cc free move, Tyranitar can 2v4 really easily.

@@EggBreadMilkSugar Ultimately play the pokemon you like the most, but out of those i'd say the most fun pokemon to play is Leafeon or Metagross imo. Though the best pokemon in the list are Umbreon, Blaziken and Gyarados.
