Awesome pilot technique. That plane was designed for people with next level skill.

What is that maneuver at :40 secs to the hover?? Is it a snap roll to the hover? Can you basically describe the stick inputs..so cool-thanks!

Hi, sorry for late reply. It is correct, a snap roll, but try to release alerons about 3/4 in the roll. Also use much more rudder and elevator compared to normal snap rolls (that are especially with larger planes flown mostly with ailerons with little elevator and some minor rudder to keep exit in the same genral direction as previous flight - here you want the opposite, to exit the manouver 90° in pitch up axis). Does this help? Feel free to ask more details in case you are unable to do this mnouver.

Nothing ruins an RC plane video more than music over it!!!

Hey man great flying! Had quick question, have been flying 3-400g weight range TA Horizon 37" 3d foamies to practice on. they fly very precise and great for learning 3d.. but even with a mild breeze they feel a bit useless. Looking for a heavier model which can do well in mild winds >10-15khp.. How does this plane compare to the lighter model i mentioned above? Since this is twice the weight it can handle winds better? does the extra weight bring some penalty? like maybe difficult to hover etc? thanks, hoping for a detailed review. cheers!

Thank you! In general Crack Yak XL handles wind quite well, the weight is noticeable. You will still feel the wind (you feel 15kph wind with 104" too), but you will be able to fly and enjoy it with the CP XL. For me it is more fun to fly in wind with planes like Crack Yak XL than lets say light 67" Extra NG which i also have.
