RV Camping at Brushy Creek Campground, Lake O’ The Pines, in Jefferson, Texas
    Hey folks,
We took our Retro 189R travel trailer to a beautiful Texas campground, Brushy Creek Campground. This Army Corps of Engineer campground is about twenty minutes west of the town of Jefferson, Texas. We had a good site with a great view of Lake O’ The Pines. During our stay we did a complete campground drive thru of Brushy Creek Campground and as you will see it has RV camping, tent camping, swimming, bike riding, hiking, boating and fishing. Its a really nice campground with a peaceful family atmosphere.
We hope you enjoy our video and find it helpful as well as entertaining. :D

Our first Maiden voyage is this August 2023. We are going to a campsite called FIMFO here in Waco Texas. I can't wait. The first time a Retro has been seen in a long time on the road. -Bob Central Texas. We have a 2018 Riverside Retro 285FK.

We love Brushy Creek. The last area you talked about is where the camp volunteers live year round. The park opened back up in 2022 after being closed for several years because of tornado damage. Area 3 was completely redone because of the extensive damage and was reopened in 2023. Thanks for the video!

What a beautiful park! That is definitely on our list. When I was still working I was stationed in that area for 10 months. Jefferson is such a cool little town. And when y’all showed the pie I licked the screen on my iPhone. Is that wrong 😂
I was writing down site numbers and have quite a list for possibilities. And three truck campers in one campground! The last one I saw was a Lance 1172 like ours. Yea team!
Thanks so much for sharing and we hope y’all have a wonderful week.

Hey Doug, we thought about yall (off camera) when we first saw the truck campers.😀
We also wondered how your trip went for the super bloom a few weeks back. We hope all went well.
Yes, the dessert first was a treat and that was my first time ever having a cornbread (bun) burger 😋. It was a lot better than I thought it would be.
E309, its a dream site!! If ya gotta wait for it, it would be worth the wait.😀👍
Thanks, Doug, for watching our video. We hope you and the Mrs have a great week...☺

      Hey Mark.
Thanks for the kind words and input.
Yes, we've been needing to replace our current microphones. Sometimes they're great and sometimes... well, they aren't. Unfortunately we don't get a good idea of what was recorded until we get home.
Thanks for watching our video, Mark.
