Feels to be a very peaceful place to visit. I loved the buildings and going inside to look at the items from peoples lives that have gone before us. Some of the collections were amazing. The older the DNA from families comes to life and once again walks among the living. I believe that is why we are so drawn to places like this town. Times gone from our life yet brought back to life for us to see, touch, hear, smell, and the quiet and peace it brings. Take care and may God always watch over your travels. A big hug for Big T. All my Love.
Hi Karen and Mike. I live in Mount Airy NC (Andy's Griffith real home town). We have everything to do with him and the show. Mayberry Days is our true fan time and draws a huge crowds with actors from the show and family members performing. It is Sept 20-24 complete with a parade on Saturday. This town really has a lot of different things to see. Thanks for sharing and as always God bless you and keep you safe in all your travels. ❤🙏
We moved to Granville 28 years ago when the roads were still gravel. The growth has been something to watch. It is a beautiful place to visit. Theres two Bed & Breakfast (one in the old bank building) and a nice RV park just a little bit down the main road. Always something fun going on in Granville, TN.
Mike and Karen, thank you for taking me along with you on your tour! Very interesting and beautiful and love the old cars! Really enjoyed your video! Love y'all and God Bless You!❤️❤️
Very nice ! Most informative ! Y'all are fun to watch and listen to the presentation for more educational facts of the past.. thanks again for taking me along !!!
My husband and i loved these 2 vidros of Granville. When we visit made a note to check this city out. Neat that the city has had a comeback and restored. Like Mayberry and Lucy
Wow! That is a lot of places to go to. I wish I could walk to get there, so..since I can’t I’ll watch where y’all are showing us. I’m a Tennessee girl.
Okay. That was probably your best video ever. And that's saying a lot because I love ALL of your videos. This is indeed a beautiful town. As I'm planning on coming up your way from North Mississippi in October I definitely have to check out this little town. Thank you so much for letting me come along on this one. Hope y'all are well.
Wow this is an awesome place and it is now on my list to visit. I got a Friday's forever list going on. Lol. Thanks for sharing this unique small town. God bless yall.
Thanks for the tour. Would definitely like to put Granville on our list to visit. We just went to Mount Airy and Granville seems much more interesting.
How do ya'll find these neat places? Just wished I lived up there to see all of these places. Very interesting. Looked like it could take pretty much of a day to look and see everything. My dad used to play Barney when he was a bit younger. He had the car, uniform, gun and one bullet. 😆 Loved the video. ❤️ Hey 👋 to my man,, Big T. Hugs 🤗 and kisses 😘 to you. Thanks for sharing. Be safe and God Bless.
My son says you should make Big T Tuesday videos. Could be really short, just a moment in his day during your travels, uploaded on Tuesdays, of course!
Granville is awesome and a beautiful place. Gainesboro should initiate the same things but I'm afraid they won't on any level. The main town is dying. That being said the events lead to folks that live around having their peace and quiet ruined. The state put Flynns Creek on the historic route to Granville so now I deal with a LOT of traffic. People stopping for pictures anywhere they think is a beautiful spot. Idk how many cars of people stop and ask me where the impact crater is. (All times of the day and night for some reason or another!) We want more land anyway and with the increase in so much traffic, we have decided to move. It is a shame because my husband was born right here where we are at and I have been here 34 years. He says there comes a time to let go and move somewhere quieter.
I was told to leave because as the sheriff's told me I was not from around there I was sitting there watching the river being drained I'll be posting the video I took of the corrupt sheriff's deputy stay tuned

I would love to see it at Christmas, any chance you will be going back?
We are planning to revisit this Christmas season.
What a neat place how far is that place from pigeon Forge Tennessee?
158 miles…It would be even further from our home, but sure would love to tour this charming and very unique town. A breath of fresh air it is indeed.
The woman guiding people thru the house ends every sentence with “ah”
