The newer 8900 is resistant to 1500 gauss. The Rolex Milgauss is only rated 1000 gauss with an embedded iron core case. That’s amazing. This is a very pretty looking watch. The display caseback shows a nicely sized movement. Overall it’s very cool and understated. I don’t understand why they put the windows in the case sides when there’s really nothing on view. Quirky but a curious design. Makes it unique I guess. Perhaps this watch is creeping towards Rolex Datejust territory by price and I guess the smart buy is used where it will take a bit of a beating. Nice matching dark navy strap. Is the date quickset or is it just advance the hour hand with the hour jump feature? Lots to like. Shame about that smooth crown. It sort of looks like an Omega/Zenith watch. Quality. Subtle yet quirky. Interesting. Seems versatile regarding casual and formal wear. Only downside for me is that I’ve got a Tissot Gentleman which more or less rips off this design.
@@DavidPhamChannel the jump hour is especially cool if you are a frequent flier. I’ve got this on a Breitling Aerospace which has been all around the world through different time zones. Just advance or rewind a few hours as you go through the time zones without having to reset the watch each time. That’s where this neat complication comes into its own.

Yeah, it uses the jump hour hand which i prefer over the quick date set since i never set the date on my watches. Appreciate the comments!
