Since mama’s been eating lots of ice cream, you could name her after a brand like Halo or Blue Bell. The pups could be flavors like Caramel, Pistachio, Napoleon, RockyRoad, Peanutbutter, Vanilla Bean, etc.

When I got my dog,she was underweight due to her bad previous owners. Vet recommended boiled chicken, fattened her up to a healthy weight. We cook it with celery to help her digestion as well. Try it out, I hope she gets well!💗

They'll either have brown or blue eyes, some will probably be odd-eyes like the mother. Dogs aren't that complex when it comes to eye color.
Well, actually they'll all have blue eyes for a few weeks.

No it is totally normal for her to be that small. If anyone can get weight on her it is you. You take such good care of all of your babies that come into your house, you’re an inspiration to all of us.

Give her lots and lots of boiled chicken soup to fatten her up and add moringa leaves to it to help with her milk supply! And come celery or carrots for digestion ☺️ keep up the great work!

Vet tech here. Definitely normal for her to seem skinny/underweight after labor. Feed her some high quality puppy food to help her gain some weight. Reach out to your local vet if you have any unanswered questions, we're happy to help

A good oily fish added to her food every other day is what my dad says. He’s been looking after pregnant dogs both pre and after birth a long time (bomb&sniffer dogs) for the police. He says that should help in the long run, but chicken is a good alternative if strapped for cash or anything. Also try adding a few cooked vegetables for extra vitamins as she’ll be deficient with feeding the babies all the time. Good luck mama!

The water idea in her food is actually a great idea. We've done that after one of our dogs was sick and it worked. Offer her food three to four times a day while the puppies are nursing. She's beautiful
you can also get powders (for dogs) that make the water resemble more of a bone broth with extra flavour for her since water might be less palatable for her. once it's all mixed in her dry food the product is like a flavourful doggy Italian wedding soup.
Literally any dry food for dogs needs added water. I didn’t know about this for a while but they do. Since most dog foods have high sodium.
Yes! And he could add in boiled moringa leaves in her soup which will help with lactation!
I feel like joey is thriving honestly. Nurturing the young, planning parties, going to target, eating pumpkin yogurt, hanging with the cat. #goals honestly.

This happened when my girl had 12 pups. It got so bad that she could barely walk. After a visit to the vet I had to put her on a high protein puppy chow and she finally perked up. The extra nutrients in the puppy food helped both the pups and her
You need to do something, ASAP. Since she’s a lactating mom, she needs more milk. I remember my nanny, when she saw our dog fed her puppies. She immediately bought Moringa leaves in an Asian store. She boiled the leaves in water until it turns little greenish. Let it cool and let your husky drink it. It helps to produce more milk and has good benefits for mom dog and puppies.
Yes! Moringa is in mothers milk tea, and that stuff worked for me and brought my milk supply straight up! He could continue making that soup for her and add the leaves, and I know that would def help with lactation!

@@spamgarbage6999 This, this and higher calorie food. Or soak her current food in a mix of warm goat’s milk and puppy milk replacement powder. We had to do this for one of our girls (dwarf rabbit, not a dog!) when she had an oops litter with 0 milk production. Fed her and bottle fed her babies for a week until she started producing, everyone is fine and happy now!

I added puppy formula to my dog's food while she was nursing to give her extra nutrients. Dry and canned puppy food with a scoop of powdered puppy formula and enough water to make it kind of soupy.

Give her puppy formula to drink. Scrambled eggs with cheese as well. That helps with calcium as well as weight gain.

I love that you have started doing this with these beautiful animals, they look at you and probably are like “thank you so much for saving me and my babies”. From the time he found Sakura to now the difference that’s been made with her is just amazing what a beautiful cat.

And Don’t worry Joey, she is skinny but having 11 puppies is a lot. Just feed her normal meals and add something for her to have enough milk and she will be soon normal strong mamma.

my dog maggie gave birth to 14 puppies during covid last year by getting loose and backing up to a fence down the road. a LOT of work. i had little help from friends by they were MY responsibility. especially as an 18 year old, working soon to be college student after she gave birth. ur caring is appreciated by each lil pup so it’s worth it truly
If I can give you a nugget of advice, Joey, it's to try and weight them every day, or at least as often as you can. With litters this large it's easy for some puppies to get more food than others, and they may need monitoring or even puppy formula. It's good to make sure all the puppies are making the same daily gains :) May help the momma, too!
Yes! I had said this earlier and hoped he saw. Also she probably needs more ice cream, the more calcium the better. I’m worried she might get milk fever. We rescued our dachshund when she was 3 weeks old bc her mother almost died of milk fever. We fed her around the clock like a newborn human.
This is similar but I put it as simple as to help mama out bottle feed some!

Momma is like I need a break let me outside please! Such a good momma for being so young!! She’s still a baby well ok not technically but she’s young! And ms kitty is adorable. Love her and her sassyness. She was like step away from me treat or I’m gonna slap you fifty times before u realized the first slap! LOL and adorable how much she missed you she’s so affectionate.
i never seen a husky that looks like that with just a fully white body and too black patched eyes very unique to me
yeah it's so cute and unique! I don't think the father is a husky, but I'm not sure what breed he is, they are too young to tell. But it sure makes for a unique and cute mix of puppies.
@@snoko2 there are probably multiple fathers but yeah, the pups are definitely not 100% husky
She is brindle and white. She could possibly be an Alaskan husky as they are purpose bred for racing and can have many breeds in their ancestry and so can be any color. Siberians can be almost any color but they do not have merle or brindle unless they are mixed with some other breed. The pattern of white markings she has is seen often in both alaskans and siberians.
A few of the pups are brindle too. Very pretty dogs all of them.

I would add some egg and maybe some goat milk to her food so she gets some extra protein. The goat milk will also aid in hydration and milk production.
He said in the last video that he had ordered her supplements and was giving her vanilla bean ice cream per vet advice 😊

This happened to my husky girl after having puppies. I put her on some high quality puppy food along side the pups and gave her 30 minutes of time to herself to eat and relax a bit. Feeding babies is a lot of work and she needs all the food and water she can get 💕Some wet food can help her get more fluids as well.

We should name the pupils after flowers and their collar color indicates their flower
For instance, the light purple one could be lilac or lavender. Or the Bright pink one could be rose.
She probably just needs to eat as often as her puppies need to eat. I'm not a vet, but I can just imagine she constantly needs food and water available for her! That soup was such a good idea. That seemed perfect for her!

When my beagle was pregnant she also wasn't drinking much water, so I just had to put a bit of dog ice cream or mushed blueberies in the water to make her drink. Maybe you can try this 😊😊😊

Aww. Poor girl. You might have to supplement their diet.. maybe her's as well. She's going to need to gain some weight. Then again, she might adjust well.
I suggested giving her puppy formula, scrambled eggs and cheese. It will help her gain weigh, increase calcium level and keep her hydrated. I do this with all my rescues as well as all my former show dogs I use to breed. It works great! They really love the formula. Plus, with 11 puppies he can supplement with bottle feedings to relieve some pressure off mom! ❤ Either way he is awesome for rescuing!!
