WAIT JOEY!!! There's actually corresponding birth flowers for each month! That's perfect because you get the months and flowers in one! Like January is a Carnation, Febuary is a Violet, June is rose, October is Marigold. It's literally perfect!

Poor mama! It sucks she broke your window but I really think she was trying to be good by getting outside. I'm glad you show the hardships that can come along with fostering as well. A lot of work and time comes with the responsibility of fostering animals. Joey seems to have the perfect temperament and heart for it.
I'm gonna throw this out here just in case it's not too late. Should name the mom and babies after ice cream flavors since mom seems to enjoy her little treats so much

The diarrhea might be because of the ice cream. Animals are generally lactose intolerant. Most mammals are born with the ability to digest lactose, however this usually only lasts while they are young.
Dog ice cream that joey was getting has no lactose in them. The diarrhea is pretty normal after birth for a little while and if she isn’t used to eating the food joey is feeding her could be the reason for the squirts.

all he needs to do is feed her an high quality puppy chow.
he's been giving her very soupy meals, it's probably more likely that, her body is not very healthy right now so she's having trouble with it I think.
@@MMAGICMMOODZ regular cow milk can be turned into lactose free milk. All you do is add an enzyme to it.
I absolutely love the idea of naming them after birthstones! Ruby, Garnet, and Pearl sound so pretty. Also, you could definitely give them nicknames based on the stone for example: Amy = Amethyst or Emma = Emerald
she was an inside dog, she definitely knows she shouldn’t poop inside! so i’m sure she’ll go potty on puppy pads! my grandma’s dog is 14 and still uses puppy pads when she can’t get outside :))
Yeah i use them every night for our 20 year old Chihuahua.. And my small female 4lb Chihuahua uses them fine too. Its great honestly just dont get cheap ones they tend to leak. ☺🙌
She is a new mum so she needs support as having tummy issues
Just an FYI....Most females do get diarrhea after giving birth. It's from eating all the afterbith. It usually results on its own after a few days. You also have to take into account that she is eating much better now that she is with Joey and her body needs some time to adjust. ❤

I always understood that if you're able to assist birthing pups (or kittens) it's not necessary for all the afterbirth to be eaten by the mom.

Hey Joey! Dogs are naturally lactose intolerant and diarrhea is a common symptom for dogs to show when eating dairy as they don't have the enzyme lactase to break down lactose found in milk and ice cream. Not meant as any criticism to you of any sort, just thought you should know
To be fair he was told by his vet to give jt to her until they get her calcium tablets. I agree that that is what is happening though.

She could also be having it due to the afterbirth and everything she eats during delivery. My dog had no ice cream milk anything and had bad stinky diarrhea with her two litters.
At least he didn’t get mad at her for getting sick :) He knows that she didn’t do it on purpose which is great! That’s o e reason i love his channel ❤️🔥

Can I just say HOW GOOD this mama is!! She is SO incredibly tolerant of humans she doesn’t know touching her babies so soon. She deserves an AMAZING home. I wish I lived on the west coast I would apply to adopt her in a second!

You’re so understanding and sweet with your pets. You don’t get angry with them over things they can’t control (dog pooping) etc. I hope to be the best dog owner when I get one. You’re a great example of what a pet owner should be. 💓
If you did go with plants some really cute names could be; Lily, Poppy, Lavendar, Lobelia, Daisy, Clover, Flora, Ivy, Ren, Calix, Romy or Primrose..the good thing about flower names is that there are so many types of flowers that you’ll never run out of names!
Okay I these are good ones I could only come up with 6 myself.. but I was thinking more trees and flowers.. lol

Dogs name should be shorter, ive always heard only 1-2 syllables bc it’s easier for them to learn. (Idk if that’s really factual but I swear I heard it somewhere and it makes sense). I guess they could have nicknames. 🤷🏻♀️

the point of rescue is getting them adopted so he can move forward help other animals in need i think so 😊
I vote birthstones! You could name an all-white one pearl! Also, gemstone names sound super mystical.

- Wolf (male husky, rescued from craigslist (?) as puppy)
- Storm (male husky, white, adopted from a rescue as puppy, lives w Daniel)
- Lark (female husky/german shepherd mix (?), adopted from a rescue as puppy, lives w Daniel)
- Lark had babies! (accident at doggy daycare) seven of them (Red, Teal, Lavender, Pink, Yellow, Green, Blue)
- Moon (male husky, kept one of lark's babies-Teal)
- Sakura (black female pregnant rescue cat) (kept her)
- Sakura had kittens! zodiac litter (Gemini, Taurus, Aquarius, Aries, Leo, Sagittarius)
- Azula (female foster cat, was pregnant but lost the litter)
- Hen (foster mama from junkyard)
- 6 junkyard pups (Duck, Goose, Shark, Otter, Bear, Moose)
- foster mama dog Roo
- Roo's litter (Hare, Tiger, Bison, Panda, Raccoon, Monkey)
- Daenerys (white foster mama kitty)
- D's kitties, the Greek Goddess litter (Athena, Persephone, Aphrodite, Nemesis, Rhea)
- took care (for a couple of days) of a mama duck and her 9 babies that wandered into his backyard and got stuck
- new pregnant foster mama husky (and 11 babies!)
*the babies are usually adopted by other people (other than Moon) and then renamed!

I believe larks other puppies are shadow, ghost, Luna, Sammy, loki and dash. (Red, yellow, pink, green, blue and lavender in that order)

I think naming Mama and the Puppies after the Months of the Year would be so cute! Mama could be named January and the Puppies could be named February - December in the order of their birth!

Personally I like the birthstones names the best, it's enough names, but they're not so obvious as naming the dogs the actual months, plus less likely to be changed later, I'd rather have a dog named Opal for example than October which is what the Opal stone is for.
I’m torn because names like Opal and Pearl would be so cute, but others like Diamond, Sapphire and Amethyst not as much (imo). Onyx would be such a good one for a black pup though.

I always remember my sister’s as opal and she was born in October; I know that’s been updated from when she was born which got me thinking and looking at an alternative for December. There was a time that turquoise was assigned to that month, and also lapis. 💙😊

Birthstones, there is the exact amount of puppy's (and dog) to call them bye the 12 months of the birth stones. (This is a once in a lifetime thing Joey!)

there isn't just 12 birthstones.... there are multiple for the same month depending on where you live and if you want modern or traditional stones...
Months would be so sweet as it's unlikely you'll ever have a perfect 12 dogs to name again!
And the snowy winter months can be the all white pups names

Birth Flowers! Every month has a few different "birth flowers" so you would be able to do the 12 months but also do flowers!
January - Snowdrop (the first born white one?)
February - Iris or Violet or Primrose
March - Daffodil or Cherry Blossom (Cherry or Blossom for short)
April - Daisy or Sweet Pea
May - Hawthorne (for a boy) or Lilly of the Valley (Lilly)
June - Honeysuckle (Honey) or Rose
July - Lotus or Larkspur (another Lark!)
August - Poppy
September - Aster (for a boy)
October - Cosmos (for a boy) or Marigold
November - Peony or Chrysanthemum (for the "mum" lol)
December - Holly or Narcissus (for a boy)
*Each flower has its own meaning too so you could choose the names based on personality traits that match those meanings if you didn't want to name them in birth order!

This is one of the first ones I've seen that actually has names for boy pups too. 🐶 everyone is like ROSE LILY VIOLET..... there are 11 of them. I doubt they're all girls. Good selection 👍

Not necessary flowers, but nature. Daisy, Rose, Violet, Lilly (my dogs name 😉), also Sage and Aster are cool, but so are trees and stuff like Juniper and Ash...
The diarrhea is probably from the ice cream...has lots of ingredients that can easily trigger angry gut in a dog and some dogs are lactose intolerant. Ask your vet for a probiotic and add 2 TBSPs canned pumpkin to her meals. :)

It needs to be something other then cows milk because cows milk will cause issues with dogs.
@@Kat19760 even goats milk has lactose, if he wants to feed something plain yogurt would be better then ice cream since the lactose is often broken down some what in the fermentation process used to create yogurt. and if he wants ice cream they do make ice cream with lactase in it which would be lactose free.

Oh no I dang near cried when you said daisy. That was my dog of 11 years name, that we just recently had to put to sleep 😭

Since mama loves ice cream she should be named a brand like Halo or Bluebell. The pups could be flavors: Caramel, Pistachio, Peppermint Bark, RockyRoad, Neapolitan, Peanutbutter, Cookie Dough, Vanilla Bean, Mint Chip, Butterscotch, Coffee Bean, Espresso, Banana Foster, Baked Alaska, Moose Tracks, Strawberry, Raspberry Ripple, Peach, Rum Raisin, Sherbert, Tutti-frutti, Mango, Cherry Garcia, Black Cherry, Butter Peacan, Praline, Bourbon, Green Tea, Earle Gray, Irish Cream (Baileys), Honeycomb, Hazelnut, Chocolate Truffle, Mochi, Gelato, Tiramisu, Waffle (cone), Sugar (cone), etc.

Flowers are a close second, there's a lot of beautiful flower names and you might be able to colour match them a bit as well.

For the names, maybe you could do birth flowers, that way you would be combining flowers and the months into one but idk
Hi joey! I truly appreciate you looking forward to rescuing little mama bear and her pups! We need people like you more often! My warmth towards animals has increased in the past few years after an incident. One day when I was walking down the street I heard the wails and squeals of what seemed like tiny pups from a nearby trash can. When I quickly opened the lid, I saw 5 little pups who seemed about 2 -3 weeks old tied up in a plastic bag... thankfully 2 of them were still alive. I acted as fast as I could and took the living pups out of the bag.... however I could see that 1 of them - a little girl was having extreme difficulty in breathing and seemed to be making a horrible wheezing noise. I was in 8th grade then and I was in too much of a shock! The little girl died in my arms. The other one - a little boy was still alive. I hurriedly took her to our house.... the vet was too far away and my mom had some experience with dogs... After I reached home, my mom immediately extracted 5 worms from his ears...he passed away on 2nd December 2020.... he was 8 months old.... we named him biggy... joey if you could please name one of the pups after him, I would be so grateful ❤ continue doing mararvellos job! Love you 💗
I think either birthstones or flowers, I'm leaning more toward birthstones since I've been waiting for crystal names

If I had to choose between those it would be the flowers. I still think you should use the names from the movie cheaper by the dozen, I mean when are you ever going to have a dozen again?

Suckling is a comfort thing they do and can also mean they were weaned and separated too young.

I think the flower idea is great! Ever one of them sounds super pretty but I think the flowers would be really cute, like imagine naming one lavender and another Lily and so on😆

I have never been super interested in Joey's content but, I love his rescue efforts and the content about his fosters.

I think you should name the puppies after planets so they would be Mercury, Venus, Earth, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune, sun,star, Milky Way, Galaxy. I know those aren’t all planets but I think it would be cool just saying
