Really wanted to meet this man one day and try some of his amazing looking food. Rip legend. Glad to know there are so many documented recipes.
I met this man after watching his videos, I realize it was only 20 minutes from where I live.. so I went to his restaurant and lo and behold there he was! after I told him how much I enjoyed the videos, it was like he welcomed me into the family and the food was phenomenal!! I went there two more times and after looking again online, I realized he had just died.. I’m still sad😢

Love hearing the Canned Heat music. Just bought the re-release of their old Living the Blues album on Record Store Day 2021 back in July. Saw them back in 68, the year that album was released. RIP to the Blind Owl and Bob Hite.

One of the cameras looks like it’s from the 1960s and the other one looks like it’s from the year 2000. Amazing how they can look so different.
I really enjoyed this one with the music in the background. Kinda has a "Rosane" the tv show feel. I could go on about how I miss Jack but id rather just talk about how good the recipes are and not get so down when i see his videos. He would want us to be happy and keep our heads up.

Evidently this was made for a local public access TV channel before the C Scam. It must be either a TV cooking show set or somebody other than Jack’s kitchen, because its not the place where all the C Scam videos were filmed, which I’m assuming was his home.

This is off topic from this recipie first off I love your videos!! Ok question i have been trying for 11 years to cook a loaded omlet and still keep the egg fluffy but it comes out thin the egg I've tried seltzer water, water, milk....am I missing something....???
Mary, Don't cook it in too hot of a pan and let the omelet set up, build it up by pushing the egg into the center from the sides. In my opinion he used way too much bread. I would maybe put a quarter cup for that big of a batch. You're not making bread cakes you're making crab cakes. I also like to put a little Old Bay seasoning and maybe an egg. I use the mayonnaise celery, green onion, and red bell pepper also.
