I love what a Serbian tennis commentator said about Novak and Jannik today: "Novak has 2 more Grand slams than Jannik is years old" 😂
True that 🙂 But , Jannik is great sportsman. He could have deliberately lost to Rune and eliminated Djokovic from further competition, but he didn't. All credit to him, but of course to Djokovic too, on the title. Pozdrav, brate 🙂
@@spacegibanitza4339 and what if Rune or Alcaraz beat Sinner in the finals ? then people would talk how it was a bad move, he should've won vs Rune so Novak can have a lengthy match vs Alcaraz and take him out or tire him out for Sinner to finish off.. this is a sport, of course Sinner will want to win. Rune won vs Sinner + was in solid form, why would he let him go even further in the head to head? + then Rune gains confidence and might actually beat Sinner in the final. Tsitsipas caused this whole sh1tshow anyway so things were set right.
@@spacegibanitza4339 It's not Novak's fault he found himself in situation like that though! He played and won 2 out of 3 of his own matches fair and square! In any normal circumstances this would advance such a player from at least 2nd place in the group into the semis, but because of ne certain a-hole, who messed up the situation in Novak's group he put Novak's chances to advance into jeopardy, which is unprecedented!
@@slXD100 Yeah, that makes sense, you're right. But, you know, there's that unwritten rule, it's hard to beat the same opponent twice in a row, especially when that player is Djokovic. In that context, Sinner should have let Rune beat him, to avoid possible match against Djokovic, again 🙂
@@Summon256 Absolutely true. And I think, that a-hole you are talking about, has last name that rhymes with Ipas, right ? 🙂
I BELIEVE GORAN HAS MADE NOVAK'S SERVE REACH ANOTHER LEVEL 🎾
Djokovic last year could have tanked the dead rubber against MEDDY, he already qualified for semis, but he played like it was a Grand Slam final... this kind of effort and professionalism is what sets GREATS apart from good players.
Exactly ! And when questioned about it , he said that Medvedev was one of his great rivals and it was important to try and win the match
I think he doesn’t have to be concerned about tanking. He can clearly beat everyone.
Excellent point! I forgot about that.
This is just another example of how Novak self corrects and problem solves after a loss to a certain player. Just amazing. GOAT doing GOAT things
Novak is not just GOAT! Novak is no 1 and there are so many empty places behind him and other tennis players.
What happened in austraulia boxo🤣🤣🤣
Novak is a God's gift to tennis and to the people who genuinely like sports.
Novak mental court coverage is beyond any a other player reach
Other players cover the court physically like Alcaraz but Djokovic is something else he doesn’t get tired
9:37 This is what makes Novak’s victories so satisfying. He has spent the better part of 12 years dunking on his haters, and I will never get tired of it. Forget about the technical brilliance of his game. My personal highlight of the tournament was watching Djokovic conduct a symphony using 12,000 booing fans as his personal instruments. No athlete has made me laugh or cry like Novak has this season. 2023 was such an emotional year that I’m almost at a loss for words on how to process it. Starting in Australia where he gets his revenge and ending the season #1 after everything he went through in 2022. When Novak cried in Australia, I was at home crying with him. I have never been more proud to call myself a fan of a man who stands by his principles.
I don't think it is boring; Novak is showing us and the young players what the highest level is so that the young players can improve.
These peoble are going to miss the big three.I was sometimes bored to see Rafa winnig RG 13
? 14?times?
But it is such a gead accivement..
We are so blessed to witness this aera of the big three.
Come on guys are you kidding? Joel is so right about this. You wanna represent the values of the greatest players to ever play the game from a competitive standpoint. Case in point, last year. Djokovic was already through to the semis. He played medvedev in a dead rubber. He almost KILLED himself to get that "meaningless" win. Because that's what a champion mentality is. You wanna destroy your rivals. You wanna win every match. You want to be THE BEST.
100%
Exactly!
absolutely and its disrespectful to fans, to the opponent and mostly to oneself to not give 100%
Yes, that's right. I remember that match clearly. He put an unhuman effort to prevail at the end. But, difference is that he hadn't had consequences like Sinner had this time. He won the title last year. But, than again, he really is something else.
Don’t normally get Joel, but here he is correct. No way does Sinner want to win by tanking or trying less than 100%, not only is it unquestionably unethical but defeats the thrill of a win. Also such a discussion should not even take place; “should Sinner have tanked the match”.
Alcaraz + Sinner = 11 games.Novak alone 24 games. Magnificent.
Nothing is better than seeing beautiful Amy beam after a Novak victory! Big fan of the show!
What, you don’t like a Madonna with tears? Renaissance painting had some unforgettable tragic Madonnas.
Thanks Three for another great show! Novak is definitely the best player of all times. Talking about "tanking" I am totally with Joel. I can not believe that a true champion would even think of that. If you want to be the best you have to beat the best.
Totally agree- Joel is the adult in the room and the one with the most integrity regarding the game. He looks at things objectively - knows that it deligitamizes the game if you start tanking and not trying even if the match is not crucial. No wonder there are those out there who say that tennis is crooked and there is match fixing . This just adds fuel to that fire. Bravo Joel!
This allows him to manage many types of tactics that no one else can execute
Congratulations Djokovic. Your 7th ATP trophy is the perfect birthday gift for me.🎁❤🎉
The greatest athlete of all time! The GOAT of Goat's. Kobe would be so proud of what Djoker has (AND CONTINUES) to achieve. Mentally - the greatest to ever play sports. You can hate him all you want (which makes know sense to hate someone you don't even know), but you simply can't deny his greatness and truly know that he is THE BEST to ever hold a racquet - period! #GOAT #BOAT #LEGEND #MASTER 🏆🥇
So true!
What a year for No1e! 🏆
Let’s go GOAT! You did it again! Another unbelievable record.
I love Jannik Sinner, he deserves all the hype and support. He will get there soon! 💪🏼❤️👍🏻
totally agree
Very soon.
Novak is now the only player to win the WTF at three different venues : Shanghai, London and now Turin. Just goes to show his longevity, consistency and greatness.
Good observation. 👍
Dint he already do that when he won last year
What the f**k?
@@yohanjohn100yup, he did.
He had already done that last year but cool anyway
There's one thing Djokovic changed in the Final, and he said this for the Press: Novak imposed himself more on the court, refusing to serve every time someone yelled in the crowd, showing his presence to Sinner loud and clear. This was an excellent move and made Jannick realize, "I'm playing with the GOAT." 👏👏👏🇷🇸🏆
2023 Revenge season for the immortal GOAT
The Justice Tour 2023
My thoughts exactly 🦘🦘 🙏 👑 🐐👍👍👍🎉
Great to see you 3 do another video Amy, Joel and Gill. The big 3 of Tennis talk! 😀😊
I’ll watch later when I can, but just wanted to mention how today’s match had that feeling of inevitability. From the first service game Djokovic carried an aura of boss mentality. Great champions learn from their losses, and Novak’s game plan and execution was a marvel to watch today. Spectacular depth, angle and precision in set 1. Levels dropped a bit by both in set 2, but by then the psychological warfare was getting to Sinner. He couldn’t recover. His spirit was mostly broken.
As a player myself, I would never go out to tank a match. That is against the spirit of the sport. I don't think there are levels to tanking at all, either you try to win the match, or you don't. It is one thing to conserve energy in a match that you don't need to win, it is another thing to go out there and try things you are working on against a player who at that point has beating you twice, that is essentially tanking, and it is not professional at all. I have so much respect for sinner for being a professional. Not to mention, what kind of message would that send the Lockeroom, in order to be the best, you have to beat the best, not avoid playing them.
Anyone who suggests Jannik could've deliberately lost to Rune to prevent Novak is insulting towards Jannik, Meddy, Alcaraz, Rune cos that would mean these players are easier to beat than Novak and shows how much doubts they have on the idea of beating Novak.
you're dead wrong
I think Sinner went all out because he wants to play Djokovic! It’s the best experience and best way to see where you are at with your own game compared to the best. He is an elite athlete and wants to be the best and not the best by default.
I couldn't realise it was possibile for Djokovic to increase his level in some shots as Ivanisevic did with his serve ... Djokovic it's simple EXAMPLE to follow to anyone who wants to get better & better ... Simply IMMENSE
I repeat years after years NOVAK DJOKOVIC is unstoppable force and still counting 😂😂😂

2023 statistically is probably his 3rd best season ever after 2011 & 2015. Won 3 slams just like those seasons, but also won multiple titles outside of those and won at least one title at the different sections of the season he played in except for grass (Australian swing, clay swing, American hard courts & late year indoor courts)
How is this even a question?! 7 titles, 3 out of 4 slams and runner-up of the remaining one, 2 masters, YEC title in the end and almost 90.2% match win rate! Lol In comparison in 2021 he has won only 5 titles, only 1 masters against 2 in 2023 and lost in the semis of YEC and his percentage is also lower at 89%, he has won the same number of matches 55 in both seasons now in '21 and '23, but in '21 he suffered 7 losses as opposed to 6 in '23, so less losses out of the same matches won! And if it's not '21 that is in active competition with '23 then which is it then??! 2016?!! Lmao! 7 titles as well and 2 extra masters titles, but massive choke at the Wimbledon before even reaching QF, loss to Murray in the final in London which also made him lose YE#1 to him and finally the most important distinction - 3 slam titles versus 2 and all 4 slam finals made versus 3! And if it isn't '21 or '16, well...then we ran out of decent options! LOL
@Summon256 While I agree that 2023 was the better overall season, 2021 does have a few things going for it. Novak beat much better competition to win his slams(with the exception of 2021 Wimby) that year. Djokovic beat Raonic, peak Zverev, Karatsev, and prime Medvedev to win the AO vs. Tommy Paul, De Minaur and a pretty good Tsitsipas. In the FO, Djokovic beat Nadal and peak Tsitsipas vs. an Alcaraz that cramped and Ruud. Novaks USO draw was much more brutal in 2021 as well, where he'd have to beat Berrettini, peak Zverev, and prime Medvedev back to back back to win it.
@@jacobschmidt2709 So are we talking about statistics right here or about competition and peak levels, i am confused?! Lmao you said it yourself, that statistically 2023 is "probably" his 3rd best (probably Lmao, like if that wasn't dead obvious! Lol) and now you start talking about hypothetical peak levels, competition etc...can't you make up your mind or something??! Lol
@@jacobschmidt2709 If we are talking about something else other than statistics, then 2015 is not even his best season, it's 2011! And i can name at least 3 or 4 other seasons, where Novak faced tougher competition and played at higher peak level...but that's not what the argument was about initially, so way to derail it! Lmao
@@Summon256 I never said "probably his 3rd best season". You are confusing me with the OP. I agreed with you. I simply added context to show that while 2023 is the better season, 2021 is a lot closer than one might think.
Thank you for another great show.
There is one thing that is forgotten to be mentioned about dead rubber match. A round-robbin win is worth $390,000 and 200 ATP points. Maybe you can argue that it is not important to Novak, but for any other player is. Some tournaments pay less for a winner than this, and you don't have to travel and adopt for it and play a whole week, it is one single indoor match. Not taking this chance because some what-about would be silly. Of course, even if you ignore that, Sinner made a great choice of taking a chance and playing in-form in front of his crowd, under conditions that he loves the most, having a champion mentality etc.
I also think that this is a good thing about being valued that much though, it gives great exclusivity to this tournament, and makes players calculate less, making it more fair at the end.
Nadal deliberately played matches on concrete to avoid Federer and Djokovic because for several years he could not beat them on that surface. Nadal thus kept a positive score with Federer. Djokovic and Federer never avoided Nadal on clay. All this can be easily verified.
this
Djokovic came to show us that, tennis is also science.
Had Novak played in the 80s and 90s, his achievements could be even higher being such an incredible player in fast hard courts. After 2000, the surfaces have slowed down. For those who claim Novak as a pusher are really insane. You cannot win on such fast courts being a pusher.
I'm 💯 w Joel, it's giving 100 % what makes a champion . Huge respect to Sinner!
Novak was in God/beast mode for over one and half sets. His insane level discomfited not only Sinner and his team, but the entire partisan unruly crowd rooting for their player and made them speechless.
It is only after Novak's level dropped, Sinner breathed somewhat easily. But it was too little, too late to stop the GOAT 🐐 from creating another history to which he is almost habituated now whenever he steps on court
It most have been demoralizing for Sinner to realise that his opponent was determined to break down his strength, namely the forehand. The same thing happened to del Potro in the US open final of 2018.
Contente que vous parliez de Delpo❤
Yes! That is so true what he did to Del Po's forehand
Sorry, lm pretty sure the guy is only 22. He will do exactly what you just said to Nole, in 2 or3 years🎉
@@mattstonier3067 You never know! Delpo, for exemple, had to abandon his career and Sinner may have already reached his peak. Only time can say…
And Nole will have 40 years after 3 years from now.
Of course in 2/3 years,
He will be outclassed, called
getting older!!,🍀🌛
When Novak is on his game he makes it look to effortless. Nick Kyrgyos put it best when he played Novak. He was playing a final having a good time hitting the ball extremely well and when he looked up he was 2 sets and a break down to Novak. Sheesh.
Happy Holidays & Happy Thanksgiving Amy, Joel & Gill! Yeah Nole plays 3 grinding 3 setters and gets in when Sinner beats Rune. Then you absolutely dominate in two powerful 2-setters in SF & F agains Carlos & Yannick! Novak always seems to figure out his groove in rounds 1-2-3 during most tournaments I've watched - Novak-Well what's left to say. Once again in SF & F after 3-4 matches under his belt in a tourney, he brings his best and plays his best in key pivotal moments. The serving accuracy and consistency and clutch play. Nole played so much more aggressively against Carlos and Yannick to rush them - playing the ball back deep. The pressure points...the serving % on 1st & 2nd. Taking time away from his opponents’ motions in his returns. Epic returning. Phenomenal pace and placement on his tactics and strategy. Just clutch raising his game on his serve, forehand & backhand returns with deep placement. Just frickin' AWESOME! Dominates the SF's & F's in Bercy & Torino! Wow! Beyond sublime! Another couple of records AND I bet Nole's performances in '22 & '23 will make Rafa more hungry and more motivated in '24 to come back and compete cuz Rafa is the only one that has a chance to approach any of the records Nole has set-accomplished. Just amazing stuff. T Best Milan! WHOA! What an incredible year! Thanx guyz. Cheers Milan
💥💥💥💥💥💥Just amazing. GOAT doing GOAT things💥💥💥💥💥💥💥💥
What would Rafa do?? He would do anything to avoid Novak, he has a track record on the issue. Especially on hard courts lmao
lol so true
the only answer. why would she even ask that lmao
Did you forget that Nadal beat Novak in French Open 2022 a year, just a year ago in the QUARTER final.....
Novak always brings the truth. He showed in the last two matches in this finals that his level is above everyone else.
I saw the notification for the episode and didn't want to watch. Because this is the last episode of the year.
Hope to watch a lot more of you guys next year. With Rafa again on tour, Olympics, it's gonna be a great year.
Fantastic analysis from each of you.. a pleasure to listen
To add up to the discussion about Sinner dropping the match with Ruune to remove Djokovic from the tournament, what was not mentioned that these matches are adding 200 points and something like $400.000, for what players need to play a lot of tennis to get
There is a saying among my friends in Serbia: Tennis is a sport where in the end Djokovic always wins…”
Brate jahaće ih još 15 godina
To add to the point about "tanking", what kind of message would it show to Novak if Jannik had tanked? To me it would have been a huge outward admission of fear. Not something you want to show Novak at all, who has the greatest mental game in a tennis player ever seen. Sure it may have helped here but what would it have done going forwards.
Ce jeu mental il a travaillé pendant 20 ans
Amy, what you said around 38:00 about Novak varying shots, going center and middle of the court, there´s an Argentinian guy that has a tennischannel also and he addresess this saying Novak changes you speed, height and placementent to dont give you rhythm, because he is playing CHESS on the court, I love that Insight. (Sorry for some spelling errors if that´s the case)
Also wanna add, looking stunning Amy! ;)
If Novak plays crappy and below his level and players like Rune, Alcaraz and Sinner play even above their best level that's when Novak loses to them at the moment, undisputed GOAT Novak walking down the path to become the greatest athlete in recorded human history. Tiger emperor Novak, king of kings!
My favorite trio..my lovely Amy...good to see you again as always
If Sinner lost to Rune , in a way it would tainted his career and subconciously mark him as coward in his own eyes, no matter what people would think or say about it...he knew that Novak is unavoidable barrier on his path and he has to confront him in order for him to mature as tennis player. If you want to elevate your game to higher level , Novak is final boss on nightmare mode. Before him, Federer and Nadal were those final bosses and Novak beat them and surpassed them. He is the king of the mountain, the rest are just challengers.
This is probably the best comment to address this widely discussed topic! Could not agree more.
Les a battus mais pas tant que ça...il a perdus contre eux souvent. C'est justement ça la clé.. Novak se rattrape sur le tableau des joueurs différents..
You can only learn from the best congratulations to Sinner # Novak had to face Federer and Nadal # he learn from the best & Now he surpassed them you only WANT to beat the Best in the final My opinion only 👍👍👍
Great anticipation and FUN hearing your combined insights Gil, Amy & Joel, as always. Thank you! 🥂🙏 ☺️
Seventh heaven for Djokovic!
There are NO big 3 anymore. There is a GOAT and other 2 are history. And if you cannot ADMIRE and respect the BEST player EVER , then you don’t Love the game. New gen is actually very lucky to play and learn in REAL time from GOAT
You nailed it! Thank you.
@16:30 Amy: "My first thought was: What would Rafa do?". You guys are great :)
Rafa would check the hardness of the court first, then decide to play or not
this sounds like religion :) venerable Rafa..
In terms of ranking Novaks best seasons, it would go:
1. 2015
2. 2011
3. 2023
4. 2021
Why do you think so?
2015 is probably objectively better but 2011 is more impressive due to his sudden step up and 23 due to him being 36
Agree ... Nothing beats 2015 .. in adition to everything he done that year he also won non Calendar Grand slam 2015-2016 and won positive H2H with his 4 biggest rivals Fed, Nadal, Murray ,Stan ..
He beated Rafa 6:0 that year , beated Federer 5:2 , beated Murray 4:1 I think .. thats oficially the best tennis season in history of the game
@craigtimmons6907 Novaks 2015 season was statistically the greatest season in tennis history. The Serb won 3 slams, made all 4 slam finals(losing the FO final to Stan Wawrinka), won 6 master 1000s, made 8 master 1000 finals, won the YEC, reached 15 consecutive finals and was number 1 the entire year. Moreover, he accumulated the highest point total in a season in ATP history.
2011 was pretty impressive in its own right. 3 grand slam victories, a FO semi, 5 master 1000 titles, 43 match winning streak, and 10-1 vs Fedal were the major highlights. If not for Djokovic petering out after the USO and having a lackluster Asian and indoor swing, this would have taken the top spot.
2023 was not only impressive because of the 3 slams, 4 slam finals, 2 masters and YEC. It was a marvel how Novak did this at 36 years old and overcame young and hungry great talents almost half of his age. Had Djokovic won the Wimbledon final, 2023 would be a strong contender for best season.
2021 is very similar to the 2023 season. Novak won 3 slams and made the final of the other(flip Wimby with the USO). He also won the Paris Masters. Djokovic arguably beat better players to win his slams(peak Zverev and Medvedev to win the AO, Nadal + peak Tsitsipas to win the FO and peak Zverev to reach the USO finals). Where 2021 falls short to the current year is one less master 1000 and semifinal showing at the YEC.
@@jacobschmidt2709 of course NOVAK 2015 is greatest tennis season ever... not only for NOVAK but overall greatest tennis season
The difference between the RR match and the Final was pretty clear: Djokovic served a bit more accurately in the Final and he dictated far more rallies in the Final by better execution of groundstrokes with pace, depth and precision. Sinner had very few attackable balls.
And not sure if this tactic was more employed in the Final, but I would say that Novak was clinical in hitting efficiently and effectively with his down the line shots both FH and BH. Sinner's defense was broken down by Novak breaking cross court patterns more often than not with 'down-the-line' shots. That's my two cents.
Folks: your analysis is outstanding. I, for one, have diligently waited to hear from the three of you. My only submission to you - can you do this more consistently - say once every 2 weeks, regardless of who is playing or not. Kinda like the besties in the All-In Pod. Come together - talk tennis - talk off-season - talk politics of tennis - talk tennis balls - talk to us about things we don't know about - the commercials of the game, the influence of sponsors like Nike on Tennis, equal pay, and why it continues to be elusive, the next next-generation, the calendar, the crowded spaces between Davis Cup, Laver Cup, short-lived ATP cup, and so on and so forth. If you need help putting together a podcast, I can help - I create billion-dollar businesses in my free time. Ping me!
Congratulations Nole!!! You deserve to win every second in that game!
Absolutely loved Amie’s takes on Rune and Alcaraz’s required adjustments. Top notch analysis
Joel was spot on with the Sinner-Rune situation. Anyone who ws thinking that Sinner could've taken it easy to ensure Novak doesn't get to the semis has no self respect. It would be demeaning for SInner cos as a player he would want to beat the best and he shouldn't be afraid of facing anyone. It is also disrespectful of Rune to consider that he is lesser than Novak (he is but things can be different on any given day).
novak was still recovering from stomach bug he had all during the Paris Open when he first played Sinner. he was lethargic during that first game..not even chasing the ball.
Thanks team, exceptional analysis.
great video as always, on the point of playing each match to win, even dead rubbers, last year season ending championship, Djokovic was stretched to breaking point and utterly exhausted in beating Daniil in the 3rd RR match, despite having already qualified for semis, but he just showed what a true professional is. It may be a dead rubber for tournament's format, but never one for professional pride
Alcaraz in semi won 5 games, while in final Sinner won 6. That, even together isnt enough games to win 1 match versus Djokovic.
That is what we witnessed in last 2 Djokovic's matches, something like a mission impossible
Your home screen may be written in a reverse order now, as Djokovic/Nadal/Federer...?

2014 RF didn't play the final against Novak in London. He walked on the court just before the match to say he had a lower back injury. Andy Murray jumped in to play an exhibition with Novak instead, since the crowd was already in the stands.
A week later RF played the final of Davis Cup and won!
How unprofessional was that? First of all, the back injury is not a toothache that comes suddenly like that, and secondly, you don't recover from the lower back injury in few days!
Fakederer.
Yes. and Roger acouse Novak a few times in the past for fake injoury
He actually said then that he could not beat Djokovic. Guess it is easier to just come up with a lame excuse and show how much he respects the game and that crowd of his adoring fans.
Not that "Federer-Nadal-Djokovic" This is the correct title 1. DJOKOVIC - 2. NADAL- 3. FEDERER.

I don't know how others will take it but surely its not a disrespect to anyone. I just thought here that less obsessed clay legend should congratulate more obsessed GOAT for achieving his goals in 2023 at least for the sake of professional courtesy...
physically, novak appeared to be about 50% in the first match against Sinner and 95% in the 2nd match.
You guys forgot that every win on ATP finals gives almost 400.000 dollars to the winner! Sinner is already very rich but he is not throwing money out the window! What happens if tomorrow he suffers an accident or got a serious disease or something like that, and has to abandon his career? He would certainly want to have enough money to him and his family keep living a very comfortable financial life. These guys will always try hard to win no matter what…
Bravo Nole !! ❤😮
No discussion about his 8th year end trophy and 400 weeks at #1. Surprising.
There's a big difference between not giving 100% due to dealing with pain or tiredness (technically it's still 100% if they try, just not 100% comparing to their normal self) and knowingly deciding to tank. The only acceptable reason not to try 100% if player already winning with lesser effort IMO. If Sinner would lose to Rune on purpose it would be cheating at the very least and even possibly match fixing.
agreed
Sinner never considered it. Analysts only talk about it.
Nobody wants to be remembered as a "dirty"player especially if you are only at the beginning of your career.
I am amazed none of you remember that Novak was in the same position like Sinner last year, beating Medvedev in a dead rubber match. It was an extremely tough battle and he didn't have to do it, by the standards of some. But that is Novak. That is also Sinner. Champion mentality.
You should change the title of the show from "three" to "one" or " the One"..
When Novak Djoković plays, Chuck Norris is a “ball boy”.
Imagine if Sinner had missed Rune, he would have run into Alcaraz in the semi-finals! Would you beat him?? That is the Great Dilemma
The first set and a half felt like a Djokovic-tiebreak. I guess the fast courts allows him to do be in that mode for longer.
No1vak is now 59-17 vs.the current top 10, and has positive H2H vs.every top 10 player, including Alcaraz and Rune, who had advantage earlier in the year.Fritz and Hurkacz together are 0 - 15 vs.Djokovic.If Djokovic, by the way , is not the GOAT, then neither is Federer, Nadal, Sampras , Borg or Laver. The best is yet to come next year, if Djokovic wins another GS ( or two), and possibly cement his legacy with being a record holder on 2/3 surfaces, should he win Wimbledon.Another USO ties No1vak with Federer , Sampras and Connors , and that would be the second most important title he could win.Another RG title ( no.4)would give No1vak the bragging rights as long as he lives because nobody will win at least 4 GS at every tournament in this century. If Djokovic wins Olympic gold, there will be nothing left to talk about tennis in our lifetimes.
I just love Amy's voice. I could listen to her read the dictionary! 😂
Nice shirt Gill 👌👌👌 looking cute ❤️ luv to listen u 3 guys 😊
Thank you 3.
Lets not forget that Sinner saved Novak, beating Rune on the early rounds. Otherwise, the results could have been otherwise. But kudos to Djokovich for his belief and resistance to lose.
In the end, the best player won. Sinner didn't save Novak. Novak did what he had to do, Tsitsipas was the one who muddied the waters with his leaving after three games. Novak would have destroyed him in two. Do you honestly think that Rune should have gone to the semis instead of Novak?
Last year Novak played meddy in dead rubber to prove so it depends on the player
For me it's not boring because I know it's unlikely to be the same next Yr and even more unlikely the following season.
Let's enjoy, Rune, Sinner and Alcaraz having great battles with this legend for the next 12-18 months, before they take over the sport.
Also, I want Novak to keep Carlos at bay until Sinner and Rune can consistently challenge the Spaniard.
Both Federer and Sinner made a double fault at championshio point in year 2015 and 2023. What a coincidence.
Good observation
It is partly from pressure by Novak as the greater returner, high % chance to lose 2nd serve point vs Novak. Even 1st serve, often Novak can neutralize it
Everytime Amy looks down at her computer it looks like she is falling asleep lol
I am not surprised that your hate for Djokovic is such that you would discuss something that effectively amounts to cheating. Fixing matches is illegal, and suggesting that a Sinner should have lost a game or not play the best is an insult to such an athlete. You should be ashamed of yourself even to discuss the possibility. Shame!!!
Must add Svetlana, I found that discussion also most disappointing.
Absolut agree
Now the question for our remaining lifetime is not what actual player tops Novak, but rather when exactly Father Time will come to collect on Novak. It holds more intrigue ))
