Sleep paralysis is scary AF. It sometimes DOES feel like you're being held down by an actual person or being watched by something. Most people swear they see an actual figure in the room with them, holding them down, so its not a joke. Its frightening AF. The first time I went through it, I swore something or someone heavy was laying on my back, cause I couldn't even wiggle my damn toes or scream, all I could do was open my eyes and look around. Took me almost 10 minutes before I mustered up the energy to throw myself off the bed to regain movement again. I was anxious the whole week after that, damn near afraid to go to sleep for 7 days straight. Its not funny.
