I enjoyed the ride especially the backroads. Interstate roads are pretty much the same for most places in the east side of the U.S.. I am surprised, but not really, at the amount of folks that do not use their headlights in overcast sky's like you had. My head lights are on before I leave my driveway in those conditions. What I would like to know at the beginning of your video, other than what you usually say, is what you are carrying, the weight of the load and about how far you are going. I may know the last part because of the length of your video. Have good days!!!!
Thanks for watching. I will keep that in mind. I haul bulk tanker with plastic pellets. Usually grossing around 78000# which is around 48000# of product. This load was going to a waste water plant where they make large plastic septic tanks
@@RidingwithBill Thanks. I thought you pulled tankers but I think I saw one time where you pulled into a lot that had vans. I pulled one of those takers you do one time in the 80's. I did not deliver it because my boss knew that I had never delivered it and I transferred it to another driver.
Thanks so much for this...been looking everywhere to find something just like this. My father has been a trucker going on 28 years now I just turned 18. I ride when I can but due to him only having one bunk and he does all the driving I sleep in the chair. Can say I find that comfortable so I sleep when he is driving. Ever since I was 13 I found it hard to sleep without the noise of the big diesel and sound of the turbo wine.
Thanks for watching I glad you enjoyed it. I have been driving for 33 years now. I know how you feel lol. You can see more videos like this in my play list if your interested. Here"s the link. ua-cam.com/play/PLfZ3Am1kd8k-Te7qfCr59qHB9gqgMDMif.html
This was such a peaceful trip, I enjoyed the solitude of traveling those backroads. I'm just now catching up to your videos and I totally enjoy them. As you were traveling I couldn't help but think of that song by "John Denver" "Country roads, take me home, to the place I belong. Love that song.
I am not a truck driver but thank god for truck drivers in America...The goods we get are cheaper because truck drivers and the highways cut down transportation costs. Nice drive, I noticed Ohio is mostly farmland.
