I had a blast filming the Monoprice MP10 over the last few months! This has been a very reliable machine in the studio here and boasts some pretty nice features for a machine at this price point. One of my favorite things about this machine is that the entire print head assembly is held securely in place using magnets and alignment pins making it super easy to unclog and switch nozzles! check this machine out here: www.monoprice.com/Product?p_i...

Big thanks to Rachel Geek for letting me use her music!! Go check out a live looping video I shot for her here: ua-cam.com/video/aVZUktwkWHo/v-deo.html
Was very good....I enjoyed it

Those are wonderful. Thanks for the great compilation.
Glad you enjoyed! thanks for the great comment!
That is a really nice print. This is the first time I am looking at the 3D printer.
@wildrosebuilds Love you guys. such a simple ideas and you do it well! Keep it up
thankyou Matthew! i appreciate that!
The impressive detail is outstanding
Nicely done as always
thanks! i appreciate that ;)
Wtf
Cool prints, great quality :+1: Will definitely be checking out more of your stuff.
Did or could you share your slicer settings? I can't seem to get my MP10 configured right and came across your video looking for MP10 content
Perfect ! Thanks
Really excellent work! I’m amazed at the quality and detail you got out of the MP10! Some questions...were these all PLA prints? Can you share your config if you slides these in Cura? Did you use the standard nozzle or did you go to a smaller nozzle diameter to get the detail? More MP10 videos please!
This Channel inspired me to make timelapse videos but im not as good as this.
lol great content. I love it.
thanks! glad i could inspire ;)
Thank you so much for using my music for such a cool video !!
Thanks Rachel!!! absolutely love this song!!
The question is, how did you find this video with your song in
He’s a friend. I let him use the track 😬
Your work is incredible. What camera slide are you using with your movement?? Thanks
I'm only a few months in as a 3d printing hobbyist, and your prints make me think about the fine tuning in slicers. Any info on retraction settings (minimize stringing) would be appreciated.
Your content is amazing! Love the time lapses.
i usually start at 5mm for bowden machines and 1.5mm for direct drive and increase slowly to fine tune. temperature plays a big role here too! my magic temp number is 205! hope that helps!
@@WildRoseBuilds hmmm. ill try out those figures! Thanks man.
Mesmerizing!
kalessi22 thanks glad you enjoyed!
omg that was sooo amazing.
thankyou thankyou ;) glad you liked!
Love this channel
Patricio Appel thanks! That means a lot!!
I thoufht 3d printers could only print up. How do they apply matterials to the side
Can you share your slicer setting, so that I can get better prints 😅😅😅on my custom 3d printer
Very lucky @ 4:55 !!!! another enjoyable vid :D
I got the mp10 mini, I was wondering if you used any custom profile tweaking for the MP10?
Can u model a mini version of that maze thing? I’m gonna buy a mono mini pro and it’s only 120x120x120 but don’t want it to be huge as this since I’ll be new to printing
Very nice time laps and printed models. What is the bed you use ?
How does he do the time lapse with the nozzle out of the way. I’m getting a 3D printer soon and would like to time lapse the first few things I make
@wildrosebuilds I’m trying to do this with my mp10 how did you connect everything
Hi. What Cura/Slicer settings are you using for the MP10? I currently want to buy one but there are currently very spare informations for cura profiles/settings to find. Cheers
What camera do you use? I'm wanting to get better quality and only use a Logitech c615. Would love to know what your camera is and what settings on Octolapse/Octopi. Thanks! Love the videos :)
I've had an MP10 since February and I've had no end of problems with it. They forgot to include the MicroSD card. The extruder was turning backwards. The z-offset won't stick when you reboot the printer, and Monoprice refuses to release their Marlin code, which would help me fix those issues. I've finally decided to get a new mainboard and go with stock Marlin so I can configure it properly. Very disappointed with Monoprice.
how do you get the nozzle to touch the bed? No matter what i do the darn thing just hovers above and oozes from afar.
How much longer do prints take with octolapse? It’s gotta be a while right?
How fast can you print gyroid infill with octoprint? My printer is struggling with the dataflow above 60mm/s
May we ask what cam do you use?
Your work is so awesome, why don't you have more subs..
hahaha Thanks so much! :)
Whats your preferred slicer?
Also what settings do you use as far as for larger builds (Layer Height ? )
Thanks
simplify 3d or cura!
i usually stick to .2 or .25 for really big prints!
I love your timelapse videos.
so i have a question. I guess you have your x and y axis go to that specific point after each layer. Is the camera shot programmed or do you just film the whole print and picking every frame on that spot?
The camera shot is programmed, where each layer it waits like 2 seconds for the x and y to go to the same place and snaps a photo.
You deserve so many more subs
:) thankyou!
On 4:18.. how do you make that smoke my friend?? Looking for that trick for some time now
Awesome
Very nice men 😮👌
Welche Kamera wird benutzt?
What kind of coupler is that?
Hi! I am very curious that how can you hide the extruder in the time-lapse video. That is super pleasing!
thanks glad you enjoyed! the extruder moves out of the way for the picture after each layer!
That must have taken for ever, what slicer did you use?
@@yiannispapagiannopoulos9549 This is a functionality built into the Octoprint OS for Raspberry Pi's
Very nice prints....
One question here.. Were you printing without skirt or edited that out.
i usually print without, i have a purge line out of frame that is usually good enough!
2:05 anyone know what type of print this is, I feel like there is a certain name for these types of prints that are these really tall castles with lots of spires and things like that. There is a similar one on another video on this channel of one involving a ravens skull too
Man your a brave one for creating and keeping a marker in your house guess earth is where the next dead space game will be lol
CON QUE MATERIAL LAS IMPRIMISTE?
hi, can you tell me, please, which video camera do you use????
This is awesome feel like I’ve been hiding under a rock . Do you have to take a certain class for this or is this just something that is self taught?
Any suggestions you have for petg on this machine? I have the mp10 as well and for the life of me I can't get my slicer setting right for petg.
just make sure your part cooling fan is turned pretty low and your retraction is a bit slower, also go check the prusa mk3 settings for petg in prusa slicer and copy them to your slicer of choice, thats what i did ;) petg is notoriously boogery
Hello
What type of steel nozzle can I take for an MP10 monoprice?
I can't find out. Thread diameter. Can you refer me?
Thank you
Mythical Beast showing up for GMM Rhett and Link.
welcome! :)
How were you able to bring those moving parts on the marble print without supports?
they were designed with very minimal overhangs and to be printed separately! ;)
How do you have this finished?
What camera are you using with octolapse in these? I can’t seem to maintain a stable connection with the mp10 and pi through an entire print….did you have any of the same issues?
What do you use for smoke?
I'm interested by.
Thanks
i have a small smoke machine i bought off amazon, its a bit finicky haha
@WildRoseBuils is the MP10 compatible with Octoprint via WiFi, or does it require an USB cable?
did you do support for the castle??
What filament did you use for the skull thing?
Esun Emarble pla ;)
These prints are amazing, but how does someone design them, like that’s a lot of work.
When the vape adds production value lol
hahaha, i bought a tiny smoke machine off amazon ;)
Do You Have The Link That Tiny Smoke Machine ? Lol
Actually that would be pretty neat for cosplay or effects on photos links would be appreciated.
Is 120x120x120 good for starter? I can just glue stuff together right? Might get the monoprice pro
Depends on what you want to print. Keep in mind that those really large prints you see people on UA-cam doing take a long time. Like days. And if something goes wrong, you have to start again, wasting time and filament. If you're not sure that you'll really need those big prints, stick with a decent size. I'd say 220x220 is a reasonable size.
anonimuso so 120 is too small? I bought the pro today but have time to cancel
@@TrendingPendingVideos Yes, honestly. That one is very small by today's standards. And for only a few dollars more, you can get an Ender 3, which is one of the most popular 3D printers around and has a large community of users for assistance.
I would say cancel the Monoprice and get an Ender 3.
anonimuso the thing is I don’t think I wanna be building.
Yeah I know everyone says it’s easy but I mess up simple Lego instructions or whatever
@@TrendingPendingVideos It's part of the learning process. Plus, 3D printing is a very involved process. When the time comes for you to troubleshoot something or upgrade something, you'll want to know how it was put together. But it's up to you. I still recommend that you get the Ender 3. Have a friend help you put it together if you're worried about that.
What type of filament and layer thickness are you using?
mostly 3djake eco pla @ .2mm layer height!
@@WildRoseBuilds I have the MP10 and have not had any success outside of PLA. Have you tried any other filaments?
I am also trying DrVax G code and settings, do you have any other suggestions?
Your prints look awesome!
what software do u use
nice
3:20 which red is that?
3djake matte red ecopla ;)
@@WildRoseBuilds thank you, does it print well?
Oh my God! That Marker replica is so amazing! I would kill for one of those.
If you're willing to pay for shipping I could print one for you?
Your prints seem to have no issues, I have this printer and only get trouble out of it… do you still use cura and if you do, what version of it and what are your presets? I’ve contemplated getting a new printer but am not sure yet because I still want to ‘believe’ in this one. Any help would be appreciated!
Also, any modifications made to yours?
You didn't print the ball? 3:12
haha no! i opted for a steel ball for the weight ;)
2:11 - Is it me or does that haunted castle looks a bit like the castle from 'Count Duckula'? (Look it up.)
how do you make this timelapses
i can´t see the extrusor
After every layer the hot end moves away and a picture is taken.
@@risedead51 How does the camera know that the layer is over and that the photo should be taken?
@@cc-san2626 he's running octolapse through a rasberry pi more than likely. It's a program that is hooked up to a camera. Octolapse takes care of all of the picture taking
@@risedead51 thanck you so much, this is complicate
I wish I had that 3D printer 🖨 :(
How much is it and what’s the name
its the monoprice mp10, you can check the link in the description for the price!
What's the 3 tier candle holder? you don't have it in the description and my google-fu is failing me.
i havent uploaded that one yet :(

First!!
This video don't show hotend and fans. I don't know how to take.
I show the hotend assembly being removed in the setup portion of the video ;)
@@WildRoseBuilds how do you do this? can a similar time lapse be done with a PRUSA mk2? with no hotend ???? just curious?
