i should put all of my friends weed in that first one and watch him throw a fit lmao
xD
He’d probably break it lol
The first layers of the white Oreo infill look giga clean.
It’s a bit late, but I’m gonna need the info on your slicer and settings cause these look amazing
The oreo is the BEST👌
Yeah that one turned out great!!
@@WildRoseBuilds did you make the Oreo cookie 50% scale?
Beware not to bite in it
Octolapse is always fascinating
Hi I'll print the oreo box ❤. Thanks for your satisfying channel. From France
Awesome! glad you found something cool to print in his episode! :)
I love watching your videos, I find them so relaxing for some reason lol, and I also get ideas of different things to print, thank you, keep them coming! Take care.
The threads on the cookie case came out well! Good work 3D printer, good work.
thankyou! and thanks for watching! :)
I like this dude. Feel more relatable to him than other 3d printing video ppl. ✌️
Hi i love this video!
Can you share your printing setting?
Thanks, have a great day!
The AC heated bed is nice...I have it on the Tevo Tornado...heats up so much faster than my Ender 3 Pro! Great video!!
i've heard great things about the tevo printers, need to get my hand on one! thanks for watching!
@@WildRoseBuilds My pleasure, thabks for posting the video! The tornado is a good printer and with basic upgrades prints very nice...the glass bed is easily chipped...i had two chips in mine on the second print, got a replacement from the seller, but stull use additional glass top and it works fine.
On the oreo presentation I was almost hoping you would take it off screen and return it with a different model with a bite mark on it XD (waste of material, I know, but thought would be really funny)
That would have been great.
Really nice finishes on your prints...
Another awesome channel (I am not new to your channel...) I can't get anough of your timelapses. Your fillament is SO clean, your prints SO perfect! (And expensive...)
Thanks Luka! glad you enjoy the content! :)
Customs guy: whats this big box?
Other customs guy: oh it says its an artillery..
*confusion intensifies
@Don Gray yeah it was in the makers muse sidewinder video right?
hahaha i thought they were changing their name for that reason but i guess not...
Nice , for me I got the X1 V4 version for the build volume. For the price an easy set up build could not pass it up. No mods needed on my printer to get great results, got lucky with a great glass bed. Keep up with great work enjoy your videos.
awesome! yeah it's nice to see a company put all the bells and whistles on their printer and still manage to keep the price low! happy printing and thanks for watching!
The oreo container would be cool to make a silicone insert for and use to hold dabs.
haha yeah!
They belt the two z axis's together because without it they always seem to become misaligned and then your x axis becomes crooked.
My favorite is the Oreo container. 😀 Keep up the great work. 👍🏻
They are joined with a belt at the top to keep the x-gantry level. So both motors turn the same and they are always aligned, mainly for when the printer is off
I have an X1 and its awesome
yeah it's a great printer!
Hey Joel, love the channel. I also love my Sidewinder X1. Granted it is my first and only printer. But I wouldn't want anything different. Except maybe the Genius. What camera do you use for your timelapses? Picture quality is great.
Шкатулка в виде Орео - шедевр просто!
Now I'm thinking about adding an Artillery Sidewinder X1 to my printer farm...
Thank you for printing and review~~~ really, awesome. But you forgot base. :D
Oops! 😅 thanks for the great model as always!
It' s a wonderful video, thank you so much
Thankyou! glad you enjoyed! :)
the belt synchronizes the screws. driven off one motor ensuring equivalent steps from motor.
Two z axis motors I think?
Great designs
Thanks for sharing 👍😀
thanks for watching! ;)
Excellent work.
Thanks for your hard work and effort to share.
ASA/ABS and PETG will ruin the glass plate. Make sure to use something to form a layer between the part and the glass, like Dimafix or similar.
How did you make the time lapse look like that? Great video!
3D print something like on a chap stick bottom (the thing you Twist and or push’s the stuff up) but make it for the bottom of a Pringle’s can
How come nobody mentions the fact that the title says “7 3D Printed Things” but there are only 6 in the video...?
i count reaaal good :(
Still does too
Hello, I also have an "Artillery Genius". I just installed Octoprint and the Octolapse plugin, but I cannot configure Octolapse. Is there or do you have an Octolapse profile for the Genius? Thank you in advance for your help.
Where do you get all of the cool and unique filament from?
Thx
You just made yourself a new fan. lol
Thanks Clint!!
Yeeeeeeeeeees another vid
I came because the thumbnail had an Oreo.... I comment, because I'd like to know how you time lapsed that intro... without capturing movement of the printhead? :O
one picture per layer with the printhead moved out of the way ;)
it is easy, just edit the gcode, that it will put the head to corner and turn some pin on and off on each layer and then just connect camera on that pin
You are my most favorite youtuber
Thanks so much 🥰
Also like Oreo the most!! What glue did you use?
starbond adhesives superglue!
Do the original Jupiter 2 and the robot from Lost in Space cuz that would be real cool
Fantastic video. what slicer do you use? Can you share your slicer setings ?? your impressions are always fantastic. Congratulations
Thanks! i used the default sidewinder profile in simplify for this printer with the correct bed size and changed my extrusion rate depending on different filaments, everything else was stock tho!
My dad made a lot of those first ones for Birthday money for our friends and family members
Thank you for the review my friend. I'm looking for a new machine myself. I do a lot of printing on my machines that are multi color. How is this one for pausing and changing the filament? My favorite machine I have for that is the CR10 mini. Its never failed me.
I did a ton of color swaps on this guy, it’s super reliable for that!
@@WildRoseBuilds awesome. This could definitely be my next machine. I've seen all of your prints and I totally respect your judgment.
Hey man! Big fan from instagram. Which camera do you use?
Hoping to earn your follow sometime in the future btw :D
what is your camera model? 🙂
Good job. Can you teacher how to make this awesome time lapses? Thanks.
i should have a video on this soon!
WildRoseBuilds cant wait!! Thanks!!
I have an X1 but can't get octolapse working? Where can I find working octolapse settings?
Hi, thanks for the video. I have a x1 but the print quality is not super good.. could you share your slicers profile please?
I use the default simplify machine profile with tuned extrusion!
@@WildRoseBuildscould you please provide a link?
@@narada4421 impossible. Go into Simplify and setup your slicer by clicking on this printer.
nice review
thanks glad you enjoyed!
Odd question on filament runout. So if you run out of filament mid print, does it cut power to the heated bed? I ask this, because if the bed cools, it will cause the part to loosen from the bed. Then you won’t be able to resume the print. If so, I’d rather the bed be something that will hold even if it cools.
Nope it will lift the head cool the hotend but keep the build plate at temp!
What is the best 3d printer for beginners
The artillery genius is a great choice!
Thank you
I ordered this printer about a month ago. Hasn’t arrived yet. Any suggestions?
Cancel it and go ebay, they have peeps who buy many of them and they are in warehouses here in united states if thats where you live. You will have it in a few days. Heck buy one just to have two, maybe sell the second ?
Matthew Poole They say its shipped though. UPS has a tracking number on it and says its almost here?
shipping from china is hit or miss, it will show up eventually tho im sure!
WildRoseBuilds Ok great! Based on your review I am very excited. Im sure I will love this printer.
Great video, I'm looking for the configuration for octolapse for mine, would you have it?
Hi, I'm looking for the same, do you get it work?
@@Erbsensuppe22 I'm not even using Octoprint right now due to changes in my setup (months ago!), but I hope you find the settings soon, because that looks so cool
woooow enterprise is so genious model
I believe it has an AC heated bed.
That's correct
Wicked fast heating!
Incredible really, what video quality !!!
a question, how do you do so that no threads come out after the extruder moves from the back towards the impression
Really nice video and review! Why did you change your mk3 for the genius? At the moment I have an ender 3 pro with too many problems and was thinking on selling it and buying one of the above. Thanks!
Hi, tell bro how you shoot your videos, what settings do you use in Curo?
i use simplify, usually the default machine profiles that are provided
Smart equipment, high-quality content! Your parents are great-they made a smart guy.👍👍👍 You probably had an accident, your ear was damaged, and there was a car part in your nose?
face mods ;)
The song is dope
How are you getting your prints to stick so well to the build plate on your Artillery? What temp?
65C on the bed! Also I wipe it with isopropyl pretty often! Hope that helps!
@@WildRoseBuilds I will give that a try! I've been starting prints at 60c then dropping to 50c. Hotter might be the right ticket! Thank you!
Yeah the 65 seems to be to hot for my pla. Starting at 60 first layer then dropping to 50 seems to be the best for long prints and overhangs. Elmer's glue sticks keep everything put. Just finished a 55hr print worked like a charm. I did notice the test cube prints 80 first layer so it must just be a matter of what's being printed. Thanks for trying to help! The struggle is real! Lol!
What would you recommend $1000 and under for detailed prints
i would grab one of these artillery machines and a resin printer if you want reaaaaallly detailed stuff!
WildRoseBuilds thanks for response I was thinking about picking up a prusa multi material as I seem to use a lot a supports on my FF creator pro (just died) running a pla and pva setup. this one in the vid is very tempting and seems like a great secondary solution.
Sebastian Pederson if you’re going for pva I’d suggest a machine with dual extruders as pva requires slightly different temps and settings, not impossible on a single extruder machine but a little finicky when I attempted it on my a20m. I did a review of the hictop hero d3 a few videos ago that you can check out!
WildRoseBuilds thanks for the suggestion will check it out!
@@sebastianpederson7619 if you're looking for a good dual extruder, I recommend looking at the hictop d3 hero
Hey Joel, love the channel. What silcare do you use?
either Cura or simplify 3d! thanks for watching!
What filament is that for the Labyrinth container? It's purrtyy
3djake speckle purple eco pla!! one of my favorites!
@@WildRoseBuilds UK too! Score! Cheers and keep up the vids. Also you considered printing plugs? I was going to print some for my girlfriend, not sure about hygiene
What kind of filament did you use in this video?
the speckled stuff is 3d jake eco pla and the plain stuff is amz3d pla! :)
Amazing work you´ve got here !! I've got an Artillery Genius too, and I'd love to learn how to make time-lapses since, so far, I only know how to record my printings when the hotend is in front of the camera, covering the 3D print. Which is the best way to go? In case you can help me, I´d really appreciate it.
What's filaments are you using and what's yku profile? Those prints are incredibly smooth!
the speckled stuff is 3djake eco pla and the plain stuff is amz3d pla! i used the artillery sidewinder profile in simplify with modified bed size. thanks for watching! :)
How do you do the timelapse for each model? With the print head off to the side?
Yep the extruder moves out of the way as it snaps a picture for the timelapse!
@@WildRoseBuilds so does this cause prints to take longer? Is this something you've changed in the gcode or does the printer do that by default?
Great video! A little question, what fillament model and brand do you use?
Wow all your prints are awsome mine keep messing up
Hi whats your favourite filament brand
probably 3d jakes eco pla :)
Out if curiosity. What are your density percentages set to for your supports. I love how easy you remove them
great video! but I wish we saw more POC represented on this channel
Hello, I’m trying to figure out the time lapse settings. Would you enlighten me on how you get the time lapse to work or maybe your settings to get that perfect lapse?
What if you put your finger or something in the middle of the process ?
Love your vids gg
Thanks so much :)
Wonderful.. how much like this printer
Hey. I have a genius too but I’m not receiving any good results. Would be cool if you could answer a few questions: Jave you modified something on the printer? Which slicer did you use? Is it possible to receive your profile to give it a try? Thanks a lot
Oreo is for your "staff" i guess!
Another great video. I've just ordered one on the strength of your comments. Do you use any custom slicer settings for this BTW to get such good results? Thanks
Nope! I just used the default sidewinder x1 profile with adjusted bed size for this one!
Do you have some printers with CoreXY kinematics? Any difference in quality if compared with prusa-type printers?
i don't have a whole lot of experience with core xy machines yet :(
TOP 👍
nice!
baptists\m/
one of my favorite bands! the drumming is insane. \mm/
Great!!!
Which would be your best choice for printer at this moment?
artillery genius for sure!~
Subbed - great stuff
Awesome vids... New subscriber !
I was wondering if you can print materials like PETG easily with this printer ?
thank you so much!
I printed quite a few mechanical parts on this machine in petg. it prints great and did not damage the bed also which is nice!
@@WildRoseBuilds thanks for your answer. Good to know.
How is your genius now, after a few months?
Whats the name of this glittery Filament?
Nice video ^^
3d jake speckled ecopla ;)
Thumbnail Looks like a oreo cookie.
Okay Friend. I also have this Machine but never been able to get this nice prints. Have you did some mechanical mods or anything and would you please share with me your printprofil. It would be really nice from you
check your kinematics, make sure that everything is assembled correctly and moves without binding. i use the default sidewinder profile in simplify with updated bed dimensions. good luck!
Great video ..
Hi! Thnk you so much for your videos. What do you think about Creality printers?
i like them! theres lots of community made mods that make them highly upgradable!
@@WildRoseBuilds Thanks man, you're so good!
Please! parameters to print oreo? very good results
Which 3d printer is that?
Or just best printer in general
What would you recommend as the best print for quality
thats an odd question, best print for quality doesnt specify your idea. are you asking for the ability to test your capabilities for quality? or are you asking for a specific slicer profile to enhance quality? besides that the prints quality is limited to the model and there are many models with high detail from which you can get high quality with the correct settings in your slicer, and most machines we buy these days can get decent quality from them.
Yeah I was an idiot I posted that comment before watching the whole vidwo I thought it was just a time-lapse sorry for any confusion I hope you have a great day
@@jhonnylacksville6765 thank you I am sorry for wording this so badly but thank you anyway and I hope you have an amazing day
Ps I subed hope you have a great day
@@samtheboss6274 why sub I don't make Vids. But there's tons of info on UA-cam just do some research. Depends what you want to make good luck and stay safe.
@@jhonnylacksville6765 I know I just thought it would be a nice juesger but hope you have a great day and with the way you treat people ( at least me) I think you could have a great successful channel
What's this filament name?
the speckled ones are 3d jake eco pla and the plain ones are AMZ3D pla ;)
