Thank you I agree I did get better data reception, the thing I didn’t like about the new update though is on 10 m FM was very low volume, also on FL rig there’s no option for upper side band Digitial I don’t think so I went back to the other precious few updates 1.78 I think, that way I can use FT8 with my iPad and switch it to upper side band easy until FL rig updates the software for the usb digital part
I’ve worked all afternoon on this I can’t get my port for the USB cable to be seen on flrig on a windows machine. I really want to set it up on Linux mint using 73 Linux.
Are you using the digirig I had issues when I was using the Xiegu sound card CE-19, also I use the shorter cable with the two ferrites, before that I had all kinds of issues, also I make sure the baud rate is set to 19,200 in device manager and also in flrig, I hope this helps.
@@joshhayes9570 digirig, yes. However, using just a random USB cable, which may be one issue, and haven't tried adjusting the low level settings in device manager to match, which could also be a problem. Thank you!
@@joshhayes9570 So: I set the baud rate, and also realized that I had WSJT-X set for split mode ("Fake it") which is apparently the wrong answer. Set for none, the control side of things settles down (but not through flrig; flrig just keeps crashing; works if I set it up direct to the com port). Now, the problem is, the audio lines, in both direction, are inconsistent (and yes, I have them set up per instructions -- things work fine against an FT-710 with its built-in sound card, mind you). I am now suspecting my random USB cable, even with ferrites on it, so I have two official cables -- both short, one USB-A-to-C and one C-to-C -- on order.
If you have the latest firmware on your G90, I've found that if you set the mode to U-D, you get better data reception.

I can’t get the digirig recognized in Windows. Or see it on my Linux mint install. Trying to get it to work on both OSes two different computers.
I’ve not used the digirig. I use the XIEGU DE-19 DATA INTERFACE and I’m on a Apple Mac mini. I also use the setup direct from JTDX software.

Are you using a Digirig? The Digirig helped me out a lot with the g90

When I try to do this with flrig, flrig crashes constantly and never actually works right. Any thoughts?

@@unclemikeyplays it can become frustrating it was frustrating to me until I eventually figured it out, 73.
How about setting up auto logging?
