Is it worth buying used Ex Police Tahoe?
I say yes, if you get one for a decent price.
It's a good vehicle if you are buying for yourself, even better if you are trying to make some money and resell it.
So what is a good auction purchase price? Anywhere from $3,000 - $5,000.
Usually there is $2,000 - $3,000 investment to make it street legal and good looking.
If you want to take it a step further and spend a bit more investing in aftermarket rims and similar things it will raise the value even more.
Retail Market Value you can expect $10,000 - $12,000.

They've cut the wiring somewhere under the hood probably while removing their equipment. Seen it lots of times on ppv's

Im in Saskatchewan, and purchase a 2013 PPV Tahoe, for 4500 all in, so far it’s been really good SUV, have herd some bad things in regards to the police Taurus and Explorers and as you mentioned they do need much more mechanically than the Tahoe’s. There harder to work on, and parts are very expensive compared to a Tahoe. Better money in the Tahoe’s than the other ex police vehicles currently being auctioned. Keep us posted!

Thanks for commenting.4500 is a really good deal on a Tahoe. They are the most reliable PPV's in my opinion. We sold over 30 of them, and never had anybody coming back or complaining. I'll make a new video once this Tahoe is ready with complete cost breakdown.
We are getting 2015 Taurus Police AWD Twin Turbo and 2013 Charger Police HEMI next week. I'll make couple of videos with those as well. I'm thinking about keeping the Taurus, was looking for that ecoboost for a long time.

QuiteAlright Hold on to that eco boost Taurus, there super hard to find, and not many of them in Canada from what I’ve herd, if you get your hands on one there very fun and fast! Definitely make a video on each car when you get them in, would really like to get to see them!
