I hope in their new era LP does a collab with Amy Lee. It would make even more sense now than before, I know they have Emily, but still inviting other singers to guest star would be an awesome way to continue the legacy

Ivo and Hybrid Theory though can perfectly fill the role for tribute act for the old Linkin Park which can capture some of that essence that we all loved.

Unfortunately, Amy lacks the grittiness required. I love Evanescence and their music, but its an entirely different beast from what Linkin Park does. Tonally it's just too far removed. And I don't mean in quality, just tone.

I hope LP listens to the fans. A lot of us are very unhappy with their scientology singer. Her cult’s beliefs go against what Chester stood for. They have received rightful backlash for it. They should fire her and reach out to Amy. She is a fantastic singer, already well known, similar genre with fanbase crossover, and is just one of the best female vocalists around right now. In hindsight I think someone on the inside may have leaked that they were looking for a female singer because they had already found Emily. This has been in the works for almost a year, and it seems like it happened organically
Evanescence has had made a bigger w the 4 albums to the 8 of LP. Both are rare breeds of a band. Both made different impacts on the rock industry since i do work at record label.
Evanescence is already too big for Amy Lee to step out and do this, but a collab would me amazing, they don't really have a similar sound, especially in terms of vocals. But they really do share a lot of fans from the same generation, LP actually might have helped hype up the rap thing that was so resquested from them at the very begining, which ended up bringing "Bring Me to Life", to LIFE.
I just saw the new Numb video with the new singer and I thought she's good but it could use some of that soft energy Chester brought along with the aggression and I was thinking Amy Lee could do that and then this video came up 😂 oh well, would've been nice.

That and Amy has a family life on top of Evanescence. There's no room for LP let alone be the front man and filling in shoes that can never be filled.

I know a lot of people made fan vids, mixing their songs together and some AI made songs, even a really good photoshop pic of them on stage ( which I know were from their respective band shows and just edited together )...but did they REALLY sing together?
@HelloXrancidkitteh I could've swore they did it was in what was then called the Alltel Arena in Little rock, AR...granted I went to a LOT of shows there and this was 20 years ago but for some reason I remember Story of the year opening for them

@SmartWentCrazy I honestly can't remember, I have a lot of memory gaps in that time frame and I remember it happening, but I tried looking it up and can't find it anywhere...granted this was before the world recorded everything to. When people went to concerts they wanted to watch the concert and weren't thinking of their phones, hell I don't even think we had smart phones yet lol

Unfortunately, Amy lacks the grittiness required. I love Evanescence and their music, but its an entirely different beast from what Linkin Park does. Tonally it's just too far removed. And I don't mean in quality, just tone.

As a huge fan of both of Amy Lee and Linkin park oh man I really wish this happens ASAP . Ik it's gonna be great . Linkin park and evanescence were literally my favorite bands as a teen! They still have a huge influence on me to this very day!

I hope LP listens to the fans. A lot of us are very unhappy with their scientology singer. Her cult’s beliefs go against what Chester stood for.
They have received rightful backlash for it. They should fire her and reach out to Amy. She is a fantastic singer, already well known, similar genre with fanbase crossover, and is just one of the best female vocalists around right now. I truly don’t know what Mike was thinking. 🤷🏼

In hindsight I think someone on the inside may have leaked that they were looking for a female singer because they had already found Emily. This has been in the works for almost a year, and it seems like it happened organically

Evanescence is already too big for Amy Lee to step out and do this, but a collab would me amazing, they don't really have a similar sound, especially in terms of vocals. But they really do share a lot of fans from the same generation, LP actually might have helped hype up the rap thing that was so resquested from them at the very begining, which ended up bringing "Bring Me to Life", to LIFE.
I just saw the new Numb video with the new singer and I thought she's good but it could use some of that soft energy Chester brought along with the aggression and I was thinking Amy Lee could do that and then this video came up 😂 oh well, would've been nice.
