Capristo is the gold standard for RS5’s but not sure why you have a remote, my father in law’s is connected to the drive modes so normal is valved closed and dynamic is valves open, way better that way, wouldn’t want that cheap remote.
When you're in drive mode. If you accidentally clicked within the MMI menu (not the drive mode button near the traction control) for dynamic exhaust then your valves will stay open completely. No way to close it unless you go back to comfort or auto mode or restart the car.
Normally the car will start with the valves open right at ignition and then close a second after ignition. This is to reduce noise by factory default.
If you want to start the car with valves open the whole duration of the start then you would need to turn on the electricity of you car and go into the MMI menu and click dynamic mode twice to get the valves open for the full duration of the start. However once you do that, you cannot close the valves as I said before unless you go to comfort or auto or restart the car.
This is mostly just annoying and having an extra fob to control the valves it's actually very nice then you have full control of when you want the valves to be open.
Of course, anytime you put the car in sports mode in any type of mode the valves will open, but driving in Sports mode in city is very annoying because it doesn't shift well and manual shifting through traffic eats more gas.

Why would anyone touch an engine that rich naturally. It's a 4.2 V8 naturally aspirated . It's starts really singing in high revs , it revs up to 8.5k . You gotta drive the car and keep it up in revs to let it actually sing all these fake exhaust sounds ruin the whole character of the car.
Yeah in this video it pretty much sounded like an amg although it sounds so much nicer when revving

Respectfully disagree, I never even thought of Audis until I heard it in capristo trim. For some of us it enhances the overall appeal of the car
The original exhaust is not very good for the car, that's why I recommend a new exhaust system...

seriously $1800 for a Capristo resonator delete kit go get fucked is 2 bits of bent pipe work worth that much
fuck some people have to much money.
I chopped off the rear and welded on a straight pipe and got the same results costing $50
But your car cant pass through MOT and isnt road legal
