96 ke niche nahi hone wala for engineers. I converted BG, Sambalpur, Sirmaur amonst the baby iim s in the first list with 96.6. Got a call from Amritsar too but didn't attend the interview. I even converted Kashipur.

Not true in every case
Highly inaccurate. Sales and Business Development jobs have a 80:20 or 90:10 split from the mentioned CTC. So fixed is always there.

Obviously it is and even at 96 converting it would be difficult
so basically 99 is a must to get a decent iim and 99.6+ for ABC (that too if you have good academics---the world is quite fucked up)
