Another point is that there is many sisters that have low self esteem and don't view themselves as beautiful. When they look to UA-cam and Instagram, all they see is Muslim women with makeup tutorial and hijab tutorial, look dolled up and see the comments of different guys (even Muslim guys) praising their beauty. This will make the sisters with low self esteem believe that in order to get another mans attentions and validation is to beautify themselves and put themselves out there. This is very dangerous and it can truly make a woman's perception of beauty messed up. It is already enough that we live in a sexualised society.
Mashaallah Dawa MAN takes time out of HIS day and helps all of us, we should keep him in our dua. May ALLAH keep us on the straight path. Ameen!

Asalamu 'alaykum. Where does it say that 72 sects automatically are the majority? Where is the evidence from the Salaf that these missguided sects equals to the majority of the ummah? If ahlu-sunnah wal jama'ah is one "sect", then this equals 90 % of the entire ummah (90 % of sunnis)

Pray. Read Quran. I was almost too far gone too and didn't even remember Allah but he still decided to guide me one night alhamdulilah and when I prayed Fajr and listened to surah Nahl and I was so emotional and i was crying. May Allah guide you
The truth is the truth. If you know you need to throw your frist step, do it. Don't wait for anyone or something to push you. Know that Allah will not put something u can't bare. And he already gave u that power.
No need to start running . Start by the smallest step by step. Then you get momentum with time like everything in life.

Read the Quran with a open heart and even question everything you want to know about islam and if you are sincere then you will accept the answers provided purely and simply because islam is the truth.

Salam. Being rightly guided and following the authentic sunnah properly, is not mutually exclusive. Rather, being rightly guided encompasses the correct understanding of the sunnah and then implementing it. Anyone who apposes the sunnah or disobeys the Messeanger of Allah (pbuh), is not rightly guided. Pleases correct me if this statement is wrong and I will delete this comment. May Allah bless you all.
